Hey --

I've installed the firefox add-on, but none of my bookmarks seem to be
seen by QuickSilver. Under the modules list, it shows firefox
bookmarks with "7" bookmarks - although I have hundreds.

Strangely, I was testing Butler and Butler couldn't see my bookmarks
either..

They're definitely there. I run firefox and can add / remove /
whatever my bookmarks.

This is a relatively new machine - clean without a lot of non standard
stuff on it. The only thing I've installed has been Foxmarks to sync
up my bookmarks.

Any ideas?

Try searching the group for something like "Firefox bookmarks" and
you'll find...

Are your using FF3?
If yes, have you turned on the bookmark export?
If yes, I can't help you, sorry,
If no:
in the address field write "about:config"
You will get a warning, click "yes I will be carefull". And you should
be.
Then you get a new page. Just under address field, there is now a
field called Filter. In there write: <bookmark>
You will get a list of things, one of them is
browser.bookmarks.autoExportHTML

Change the value to "true"

now close firefox, restart firefox and after some minuttes Quicksilver
will find your bookmarks.

This worked for me!

Thank you so much, I had been importing all my bookmarks into safari
(that module seemed to work) whenever i remembered, but this, this is
like back in the day!

Thanks again.
