Hello all,

I'm using QS B58 on OS 10.6.4.

I want to use Proxy Objects to Show Menu Items for the Current
Application. I've done everything according to instructions at
http://www.43folders.com/2007/03/12/tme-quicksilver-application-menus
and http://www.celsius1414.com/node/1432. The result, though, is a
list of menu items that is completely blank, although at the bottom it
says "1 of 121" or whatever number.

I had the same problem with B57 and hoped B58 would fix it.

Thanks for any help.

Hello,

I believe that you need to allow "Enable access for assistive devices"
under "Universal Access" in "System Preferences
". I don't have time to look at those links you mentioned to see if
they mentioned to turn that on.

Hopefully that is what the issue is.

Yes, the second link mentions that, so I've already enabled it.

Have you tried downloading and installing the 'updated' UI access plugin here:

I think the feature you're after is broken in the stock QS download.

After downloading the new plugin remove the UIAccess.qsplugin from

~/Library/Application Support/Quicksilver/PlugIns

then unzip your downloaded file, double click to install it, restart QS and hopefully it'll be working.

Thanks, this also fixed the problem for me. That makes quicksilver
1,000 times more useful!

Like the original poster, I watched The Merlin Show episode on how to
do this and it's taken me two days to get it all working!

First, I had to follow the same detailed instructions the poster
mentioned (http://www.celsius1414.com/node/1432).
Next, I just followed your instructions above.
Finally, it all works!!

Thanks for your help,
