Dear All

A quick recap on the discussions on last Saturday 10th July at SEVA premises:

This meeting had just five NGOs participating.

Venkat, Aarti, Chandrasekhar and Sanjay of JGW explained about SEVA
Mela once again. The idea is to provide a platform for NGO's to
showcase about themselves and make it at the same time fun filled so
all visitors are engaged well. Additionally it was suggested that we
approach some restaurants to offer what they can so that the Mela
would a food festival/food court. Even if each of the restaurants
provide a few 100 of their signature dishes free the proceeds could
make a significant amount.

I am including below a concept note on SEVA Mela sent sometime back
for all of us to get more ideas to include.

We would solicit that there be more attendance for the next meeting on
17th July Saturday same time 2:30 PM.

This time the venue will be Aashray premises - Thanks Aashray for the
kind gesture to host this meeting.

The address is 309, Parthani Towers, Golconda X Roads, Mushirabad,
Hyderabad - 500 020.

Tel: 040-55822102, 27660729

Please Contact Ms. Grace Nirmala, Mobile: 9849356266 if you need
further directions.

After our meeting that day we happened to meet Mr. Manohar, Chairman
Kowtha Group of institutions who had kindly consented to provide
Kowtha Kamakoti Kalyana Nilayam premises for SEVA Mela on Oct 1 and
Oct 2. The total space available in this premises will exceed 7000
Sft. For those that came the other day to SEVA - this is the place
where Ayurveda Mela and the other textile exhibition was going on.
Additionally there is 1500+ sft inside also which could be used for
SEVA Mela.

We also met Mr. Sanjay of Rachnotsav (a big name Event Management
Organization) who has offered to provide help with ideas in managing
the whole event.

Please forward this to as many NGO's as possible for many of us to
come together and make it happen.

Look forward to meeting many more of us on 17th July Saturday at 2:30
PM at Aashrya premises.

Best Regards
Thiagarajan
