Hi Sreedhar,

I've been having trouble finding a speaker for the next meeting .. if someone would volunteer to present a talk then we could have a meeting this Friday.
I asked the flex team in Bangalore.. if someone from there would be interested .. but no response from there yet.

Hi,

I'm from graphic design domain who has bit of experience in web designing and java programming.

I want to learn and use flex for developing air and web application.
 I have been able to get reference books for actionscript. But what about learning MXML.

I have procured a educational copy of FlexBuilder. Thank you for advice/insight!

P.S.: Can anyone chart a path to learning flex for newbies like me.

what are the pre reuirements to communicate flex and servlet communication..!!!

Hi:

         It’s very easy to resolve your question.

         First step ,you should download blazeds from adobe web sit.

         Second step, create a java web project and copy blazeds to it and override web.xml,you will find the blazeds is a j2ee webApp.

         Three step , write your java code

         For example:

                   You  java class is  org.flexjava.example.helloworld

         Four step,config your remote-config.xml in blazeds\WEB-INF\flex

                   <destination id="yoursetid">

                       <properties>

                             <source> org.flexjava.example.helloworld </source>

                       </properties>

                   </destination>

         After all, you can call java service method in as or flex by RemoteObject.

         You can use any java technology in it .
