Thanks for sending me the details. I did speak to the authorities of the Pasam Hospital at Kodaikanal, and wish to bring to your kind attention the following:
1. Every year they are conducting plastic surgery operations for some 100 patients. Last year it was for some
130 patients. This years surgery is going to be postponed, the new dates will be announced soon (it may not be during March/April).
2. The expert doctors will screen the patients and decide whom to prioritize. Rest of the patients have to wait for one more year.
3. The surgery is absolutely free, but patient has to take care of his food and accommodation expenses.
4. IMPORTANT: The Pasam Hospital is a charitable run hospital and having many specialists. They are providing many kinds of medical service to the society totally free of cost throughout the year. Anyone can avail their facility, more specifically by the needy people.
5. They do conduct many medical camps throughout the year in remote areas.
