Maharashtra Arogya Mandal's Sumatibhai Shah Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya (SSAM), Hadapsar, Pune is one of the renowned private Ayurveda colleges in Maharashtra. The Institute has a tradition of over 17 years. The institute has gradually emerged as excellent centre for quality education and treatment in the field of Ayurveda with its post graduate institute "Dr Dada Gujar Institute of Post Graduate Studies and Research in Ayurveda" (DGIPGS & RIA) having post graduation in six subjects. Institute is managed by 49 fulltime faculties including 31 Post Graduate recognised faculty members, which is real asset of the institute.
The institute, SSAM, has unique combination of visionary management and dedicated team of faculty members hence we have witnessed huge success in various National workshops like Panchakarma Karyashala, Shashthi Upakrama, Aushadhi Nirman Karyashala, Review of Swasthavritta Syllabus Workshop, International Seminars like Sandhana 2003 organized by our institute. Now we cordially invite you for the two days National Seminar on Research Methodology and Biostatistics on 12 th and 13th October 2007.
Ayurveda has potential to become the main healthcare system of India. Research in various untouched treasures of Ayurved with appropriate methodology; supplied by biostatistical analysis will enhance the acceptability of evidence. We believe that when a post graduate student acquires sound knowledge of methodology and skills of utilizing appropriate analytical inferences he will become a good researcher and clinician.
Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik has emphasized on the subject and initiated the process by up-gradation of syllabus. The new syllabus will elevate the level of knowledge of subject in first year post graduate students. We with the above mentioned seminar are providing you the opportunity to learn the concepts of Research Methods from the eminent and expert faculties and recognised examiners in the field of Research Methodology and biostatistics.
This two days interactive and Illustrative seminar is completely designed to explain you the basic concepts of research methods and biostatistics. It will initiate the thinking process and interest in your mind and stimulate your efforts towards the excellence. This will eliminate the obstacles of conflicts by pacifying storms of queries and develop insight of the subject.

Personal Counselling session: Personal counselling session is available for the students to discuss their synopsis and research topic with the additional fees of Rs. 150/- . You will get the opportunity to interact with the one eminent research faculty member and one statistician. They will help you to solve your difficulties.

Paper Presentation: No paper presentation sessions are scheduled in this seminar.

Compact Disk ( CD) worth Rs. 1000/- will be distributed free as a study material.
