Prefab doesn't like spaces in texture path.
Been trying to get some textures to load in prefab with little success.
Tried various options lowercase exact path etc.

Thought it may be that it was the space in "My Documents" where the dae file is located.

The materials path in the dae is <init_from>./A3DHouseV005apolySurfaceShape3.jpg</init_from>

Put dae and textures in root C drive so its loading from C://mydae.dae , everything works, texture loads in prefeb.

Put dae and textures in a folder called "Test Folder", prefab doesnt load the texture. No errors though.

Thats correct, only awd and obj are resolving space, returns and even
allow windows discs resolvings: high on my todo.

Fabrice , sorry for interfering with unrelated question (Just did not get any help so far :(  . I am importing animated model MD2 from MilkShape and the animation sequence names have some bizarre  additions like where I defined "stand" it becomes "stand½{-x " in Away3d . Do you know something about it ?
Thank you

many stuffs has been changed on parsers/animators and I haven't tested much yet.
if you downgrade to previous 3.4, do you still get these prefixes?

Why not ask on Milkshape forum or ask the makers?

I am asking here because it can be also the problem in Away3D . If you say that Away MD2 parser is fine I will look in MilkShape forums if such exist  .

All i'm saying is yes, i'm pretty sure 3.4 parser is fine. 3.5 should be, at least when it comes to frame prefixes, but I haven't played with it yet in 3.5.
thats why I've proposed you to test first in 3.4.
