Very nice 3D virtual world demo room at

http://www.yogurtistan.com/demo/OdaDemo/OdaDemo.php

If you get one character to stand in the same place as the other you can see their z sorting algorithm working really well.

They claim their core engine ( an AS3 implementation of OpenGL ) will be open source, but I've found no link yet.

99.9% sure it's Away3D under the hood :)

Thanks Jake, keep checking www.yogurt3d.com, it'll sure be announced
there. There will also be SwiftGL page soon.

A little information; we have two libraries one of which is SwiftGL,
the
core graphics library compatible with OpenGL. So if you can write
OpenGL
code, you can also write SwitGL, and you can use your old OpenGL
projects,
make them online! Yogurt3D is a higher level library, more like a game
engine, it uses SwiftGL. And good news, SwiftGL is going to be open
source.

Thanks, here are some first tests made some time ago. 25K polygons
and 40K polygons. Each character is 2300 poly.

Is this faster than Papervision3D or any of the other Engines?
