vf1000 radiator

hey,
how the hell do i check the radiator fluid? 1985 vf1000. i ve looked pretty
hard and cannot find the filler cap. does the front fairing have to come
off? how does that come off?

On my 84 "R" there's an overflow tank behind the LH sidecover.
BUT there should be a cap on the actual radiator as well.

My old 750 had a rad cap also.

Seem 2 remember back in the Dreamtime BSA had a thing called a
"Dandy" scooter which had to have the cases split 2 adjust the points :-(

Fuck oath....ive seen the wrong side of 40 & currently own one air cooled
1100 that ive owned for 18 years (retired in the shed) & another that i have
been riding daily for the last 5 years. I wouldnt own a liquid cooled bike.

would u believe i removed the front fairing first. then i followed the
radiator tube down to the side panel and i took the seat off then the side
panel off and there it was.......

I've had three.
Suzuki XV800 Little-Red Throbber in 1991
Triumph 900 Sprint in 1995
and the current BMW K75C.

The BMW is the only one I've ever undone the cap on though..........
