[APE Project] Ubuntu 10.04 & Mysql

Hi,
i worked with ape server in the last month without any problem.
Yesterday i installed the new Ubuntu 10.04; i tried to install the ape
server with deb package, but I get the error:
Dependency is not satisfiable: libmysqlclient15off (>= 5.0.27-1)
(in my synaptic i have install libmysqlclient16)
What can i do to return to work with ape server?
(i'm not able - and i don't want - to compile the source: i prefer
a .deb)

Hi,

i think it's because libmysqlclient15off is not available on ubuntu
10.04 you can try to get it from an older unbuntu version.

Or you can force the install of the APE .deb with :

dpki -i --force-all /your/deb/file.deb

it should work with libmysqlclient16

You can also install libmysqlclient15off with apt-get -i
libmysqlclient15off
I installed a ape-server recently on Ubuntu 10.4

If some people is looking for libmysqlclient15off you can download it
from here :

http://packages.ubuntu.com/karmic/libmysqlclient15off

Then install it and APE should setup fine ;)
