gears for android on IA

I found that gears is missing for android on IA, visiting gears.google.com, it says:

Your browser is not currently supported. Please check the list of supported browsers below.

While for the emulator provided by google, it shows: Gear is installed. Current version:0.5.2.0

When will the gears.so for IA be released? Is there some plan on it? Thanks.
