I'll compete with Muthu to snatch up developers. Our team has money
outside of the $25K we won, so if we get the right developer we can
pay decent money! Brownie points if you are in the SF Bay Area.

I might be - depends on the project I would be working on, the time
commitment needed, and what could be offered as compensation for the
work.

I anyone does want to contact me, my public resume is
http://www.phdgaming.com/general_media/SAndersonResume2008V2.doc and I
can be reached at PHDG...@hotmail.com .

I will be interested too. Graudated from IIT Madras in 1998. Have been
working on Java/J2EE in the initial years and on UI/Swing/eclipse
plugin development lately. Work as chief engineer in a well know
company. Resume available on request. Have to create one :).
My submission for the challenge was a port of windows officemobile on
the android platform. I wrote it from scratch. Spent around 8 weeks
on it. Essesntially, it was to bring microsoft word, ppt and excel
format files to android platform. By the time I submitted to the
challenge, I was able to show accurately ( along with text/graphics/
objects) MS word and powerpoint documents, the way they show up when
you open them in their own editors in windows. I never had much hope
on winning as I would never score much on the challenge judging
categories (my only hope was polish).
Going forward, would like to be involved with the platform. I live in
SF bay area.

Forgot to acknowledge that I used apache POI utility to convert the MS
documents to the java model.

(BTW, I pondered for a while porting my uSeeToo (intractive graphics
for Skype) to Android...)
My Challenge app was looked at briefly, once, by one judge (based on
server logs)

I am possibly available depending on the project and time required
etc.

My losing application was a mechanism for synchronizing with a
Microsoft Exchange server allowing Android users access to Contacts,
Calendar Events, Tasks, and Email. I can provide a more complete
resume if needed.

I will absolutely attend Phase II.

Working on my app for Phase II now. :-)

Nice to haves for Phase II:

1. Hardware
2. Give the judges more time to spend with each submission.
3. Allow judges to contact developer if there is an issue.
4. Require judges to read documentation associated with the app.
5. Did I mention Hardware?

David, be careful what you ask for!!! Think of the headache it will
be to start dealing with hardware when we only have 6 weeks to get a
whole new version of our applications released. But hardware AFTER
the submission date, that is another story.

Hang in there folks. Phase 2 instructions have not been in yet. We'll
make a decision as soon as we get the instructions from the ADC team.
Thanks.

Hello,
I run a company that is doing development for many platforms and
plan to do a lot of work with Android - i would be interested in
partnering with ANY/ALL develoepers... I do not wish to compete in any
way - we all need to work together to create one solid platform.
I wasn't interested in the "Developer Challenge" and did not post a
submission - however, our ideas need the help and collaboration of any/
all developers to work!

brady...@gmail.com - for more details.. (and yes I would be
interested in lending my development assets to see your projects
succeed)

Sorry, I was confused. These are requests for ADC II. Licking my
wounds and moving on.

Best of luck to those selected for the top 50!

I am interested and I am based in Dallas, Texas. I am flexible in
compensation and time commitment.

I submitted 2 applications and on one of them ranked top 25% but
didn't win top spots.

Send email to mydb...@gmail.com about your project and expectation.
