Sweeties,

Sorry I've been absent of late - my ISP seemed to have stopped sending
my Usenet posts to anyone outside my ISP about three weeks ago. I've
been posting via E-mail over in alt.culture.fabulous, but as of three
days ago, all my E-mail began coming back to me failed and with
messages of "host unknown." Birdie, darling, sweetie - you're the sun
and moon and stars to me - I want you to know that I've been trying
*everything* to try and respond, but nothing seems to be working.
Darlings - if you see this message (and I have doubts you will), could
you drop me an e-mail saying so? I can't reply - but my incoming
seems to be working. I'm beyond exasperation at this stage, sweeties
- but I'm in the process of getting a new ping box - and THEN a backup
ISP - hopefully in a couple of weeks this will be nothing more than
repressed memory for me, darlings. Until then, I'm going to try
posting via FreeAgent again, if for no other reason than to try myself
*completely* over the edge. Until then, sweeties, I shall of course
remain...

Screamingly Beautiful - Scandalously Demure...

Rejected by your own server? I thought they only did that sort of thing back in the kitchen when out
of ear shot or under their breath when they served you....depending upon who's kitchen you are
in, this can be a real scream. Tsk tsk, tis a pity that Edina never had a big catered affair where the
hired help could have dished her and Patsy...and...that daughter. But, I digress.....

I know you'll come shining through, besides I seem to be in a hip happenin' competition with
Elizabeth Taylor these days.....you put the right hip in, you take the right hip out....of course, with
her hip, I do believe it was the 8 husbands she had and with me....a beer truck. I would have much
preferred a Stoli wagon, as it is, it remains much to my embarrassment that I have to explain that I
was caught under a beer truck. I mean...beer sweetie! Absolutely insulting that....Why oh why it
couldn't have been Southern Comfort or Jack Daniels or Stoli, I'll never know....but, it was one of
those ditchy days...

In any event, while the hip has been in competition with Elizabeth's (and, no, no, we haven't done a
tally yet to see who has shown who's rear end to the doctors the most yet) both of my ping boxes
have been in competition with yours, except, I got the laptop fixed, and so, just down to having to
ship off the other one. Another two weeks and we ought to be back in business. Just be glad you
haven't had the techno-trouble I've had at work.....you've never heard so much cursing by
engineers in your life, real shouting sweetie.....and those phantom kind of problems where the
sound is really really not coming out right and after MUCH testing and fussing about, it suddenly
starts working perfectly, with no explaination.! I've given up and have decided that we've just got a
Techno-Poltergeist....and yes sweetie, with all three projects, we've got short short deadlines with
those crazy crazy lines around the block kinds of crowds waiting...to spend millions of dollars real
fast. So, it's been slightly amusing and exhausting. We'll be finished with them around March 5th.

And, by the by, the best way see Star Wars is in French. Hysterical.....

Sending this to the board and to your e-mail address...and have to make a fast get away as one of
my parrots has started biting the laptop...."yes, darling, it is an apple, no darling, you cannot eat it"
Anyhoo, , I am up to my tits in housework and melting ice with my hip, and, I am sure we will dig
ourselves out.
