Speaking of... not that.
I notice the Jp Air Assault Team has different names than the Jp Air
Defense Team. Are they seperate characters, or do they just adopt new names
when 'evil?' (Basicly I'm asking if they had a spec.)

"I don't know why I bother to buy TF during the year. If all the series
are this poorly produced and received, I could buy the entire line at BotCon
each year for like 1/4 retail." -Hydra
Lack of faith in humanity is just common sense.
I did a rough translation of their bio for the Allspark awhile back. It
doesn't mention anything about them being different characters:
Air Assault Microns
Function: Air Bombardment Unit
"A sword only has the power of destruction!"
Forms the "Dark Saber" when combined, a sword which contains a spark of
darkness. It was discovered by Scourge, who came to bring ruin. They
possess great accuracy in bombing their enemies from the air when they are
not combined.

If it has, it was by someone besides me, as I've not seen it.

More importantly, it doesn't mention anything abotu them being the SAME
characters as the Aur Defense Team. The Japanese ADT is Shuttler, Jetter and
Mach, whereas the Japanese Dark Saber is Shade, Jack and Mad.
Given the recent Dreamwave profile for the US darksaber, I was wondering
if the minicon's 'stayed evil,' they might not change their names to reflect
this. Bit given the profile we got, that's clearly not the case. The American
Darksaber is a powerup of the Star Saber, but the Japanese Darksaber is a
seperate sword entirely from the Starsaber. (The sword of darkness Scourge
used in his lonely Armada appearance.)
Thanks Jordan!

"Yeah, that was an attack on Armada. Poor little plastic toys are weeping
poor little plastic tears.." -Zob

This newsgroup is ridiculous.
There you are, then. Given the original text in front of me, I might be
able to polish up that translation a wee bit here and there, but I see
the gist is still intact...sorta...
Ah! So there's no new or different one for the Transformers subline.
Interestin'.
Thanks, Paul!
