Greetings from Ognian Public Broadcasting
We are the new owners of Alpha Crucis Radio, and become
Ognian Public Broadcasting, from 1st July, and we will
be broadcasting from Ognia.
Given the hell that the previous ownership seems to have
caught from one "dgs" chap and hismates, we respectfully that
they leave us alone, when the changeover officially takes
place on Friday.
We are going to be a listener/viewer supported radio/TV network,
whose primary audience will be in Ognia.
Among Antactic forum nations, Ognia covers up to 9
time zones (anywhere from UTC-10 to UTC -2 depending
on the time of year).)
We don't know what problems "dgs" and his associates had
to the previous ownership, but we ask that he leave us
out of it, since we are set to become Ognian Public
Broadcasting, as from 1st July.
We will be operating out of Las Estrellas, which is the
largest city in Ognia, and in one of several territories that
were ceded in 1982 after the South Atlantic War (sometimes
called the Warahar war, and the Falklands war)
In 1981, The Faklands Islands voted to be annexed to
Ognia and admitted as the State Of Warrahar. Argentina
thought that the Falklands would be easy pickings. What
they did not count on was becuase of the large expat British
community in Warahar, that Margaret Thatcher would despatch
British troops to repel the Argentine invaders. One thing
about PM Margaret Thatcher was that she was the type that
stood up the the interests of British citizens, no matter
where they were in the world. That is is likely when the
got the nickname "Iron Lady".
A number of islands were ceded to Ognia, as well as the
Tierra Del Fuego (now the Ognian state of Yaghar).
Stanley, in Warrahar, is the main gateway to the various
islands is the South Atlantic that were ceded to Ognia,
as well as the Tierra Del Fuego. Las Estrellas is about
2 1/2 hours flying time from Stanley. Stanley is about a
10 hour flight from Cape Verde, where I am writing this
from. Before we officially take over on the 1st, I was
in Califronia, checking on the servers where was have them
colocated, and I am en route back to Ognia now. Not counting
stopovers, is it about 11 hours from LAX to Cape Verde,
10 hours from Cape Verde to Stanley, then about another
2 1/2 hours from Stanley to Las Estrellas.
One we get things going, I will be heading to Durban to
broadcast it live when the 2018 Olympic host is announced
on 6th July. What is rather interesting is that North
Korea will likely get it.

No such place as Ognia. Don't stomp your feet and say there is without

Ognia covers no time zones because it doesn't exist.

One other thing to note is that I, myself, am a dual national,
just like one of the previous ownership, though I am a
triple national. I am American, British, and Ognian. I was
born in Ognia, to one parent that was British and the other
American.
Now, contrary to what some of the people who used to chase
the previous owner about, I, to, am not subject to the
travel restrictions on Cuba, despite holding US nationality.
First, I can travel to Cuba, from Ognia, without going
anywheres near the United States. If you do not land in the
United States, you do not have to comply with any US
travel restrictions even if you are American. Not using
any US connecting city means you do not have to comply
with the US travel restrictions.
From Ognia, I can go to Cuba by way of Cape Verde, or go
through Argentina or Chile. So if there is any broadcasting
to do from Cuba, the US travel restrictions do not affect
me, becuase I do not use any US connecting city. As long
as I use either my Ognian or British passports, and do
not go through any US connecting city, the restrictions
do not apply to me.
