[ANN] TopoFusion - New Topo/Aerial GPS Mapping Software
TopoFusion
TopoFusion is a fully featured GPS Mapping program for Windows. It
displays track and waypoint data on USGS topo and aerial maps
(downloaded on the fly from Terraserver) for the United States.
Although there are many mapping programs to choose from, TopoFusion
includes a number of unique and exciting features:
- Produces trail networks (eliminates duplicates and averages multiple
track logs into a single network of trails)
- Efficient design (scrolls and runs much faster than other programs)
- Elevation shading (tracks and elevation profiles are drawn shaded by
elevation)
- Track playback - replays trips in real time (or any factor of real
time) updating position and statistics as time progresses
Other features include:
- Reads and writes GPX format (XML)
- Imports/Exports data from TopoUSA and Maptech Terrain Navigator
- Downloads/Uploads tracks and waypoints from/to Garmin units
