"When LRH left, in 1980, to do his researches; he took with him, his two
most, trusted, friends, and companions. These two people, were Pat Broeker
and Annie Broeker.
They, lived and worked with him, for the last, six years, during the time
period of this research. And this evening, Pat Broeker, is here to speak to
you, in regards that. Please welcome him."
(audience claps)
Pat Broeker speaking:
[Note: Pat appears very uncomfortable, does this whole thing with his head,
stretches his neck out and clears his throat etc. while saying the
below -starting with the part "my honor"]
"OK. As David mentioned, it was my ...(clear throat) my honor to serve under
him these last six years, and before that, ahh, in the Sea Org in general.
And there is just no greater, there is just no greater honor (points and
shakes finger) and those of you know in the Sea org, and his friends know
exactly what I'm talking about.
Specifically, because I was close to him these last six years there's,
(clears throat) four very, VERY, important subjects that I want to discuss
with you. Just very briefly. (big pause between this and next part below)
[Note: Pat appears uncomfortable again, and stumbles several times while
saying the below]
Firstly I want to, talk to you in a little bit, in a little bit more detail,
as David mentioned, about his decision. And YES, it was ABSOLUTELY HIS
CAUSITIVE DECISION, to discard that body.
[shifting weight back and forth, clearing throat]
Around, January, [shifting weight back and forth, clearing throat] late
January 1982, he made a significant breakthrough, on what is now New OT
VIII, Truth Revealed. And...it was..it was at that time
that he, uhh found the PRIMARY cause for amnesia on the whole track as he
mentioned in that Rons Journal? RJ39 I think it is?
That opened up to him, SIGNIFICANT, stretches of track, that were ....
previously unavailable, and or in some cases not even known about.
Now I'm going to show you right now, umm, I don't know if you'll be able to
see it in .... you in the audience but uhh, as this is being televised I'm
going to show it to the camera, so that uh, later if you see a tape of this
you can then see what I'm displaying.
I have here, ahh, a worksheet, [stumbling and halting speech patterns] from
one of his sessions, ahhh in .... later Nineteen Eighty.....TWO. This makes
up now, what is .... ahh, OT 10 Character. Now I've xeroxed this .... this
worksheet, and in so doing, I, I took the liberty of blocking out a section
above what I want to show you and a section below. (audience laughing). When
you do OT 10, you'll thank me. (audience laughing) And you'll understand.
[Note: shows paper with writing of a LOT of numbers]
This block, that you can see, consists of series of numbers. Ahh.. 3 numbers
comma, another three numbers comma, and it's about.. well it's 12 down and
15 across.
This there, is a DATE. (audience laughing)
[licks lips, pauses]
Yea, (laughs)
(nods head, turns to picture of Ron, audience clapping)
I wanted to show you the significance, the magnitude of the research he's
done these last six years. This level, uh ... took him 2 years.
[licks lips several times]
Well in that two year period he did OT 9 Orders of Magnitude and OT 10
Character. Arra, around about (stumbling) sorry, around about summer 1984 he
said at that time, that he would (stumbling) not be able to, that he was
would soon come to a point. And he knew approximately where (halting speech)
it was (stumbling) but there were, as there were things intervening from
where he was to where he (halting speech) knew he would find this phenomena
that uh ... in which he would have to .... DIScard the body and do it
COMPLETELY FREE from encumbrances. This was in.. ahh, summer of 1984.
As we a-approached the end of that year, (lick lips twice) he was just about
there, (lick lips twice again) discovered something else, called it off,
went on into .... finishing this .... went back .... with rear-view mirrors
....to then .... complete, finalize and polish up what he had been doing
since 1980, these advanced levels, and then proceeded on.
Until...he got to that point and then on (puts hands on hips) ..... January
19 ..... he ..... stated
that ..... this was it. (licks lips several times) ..... And he then .....
handled ..... in session those things that ..... were necessary so that he
could completely sever all ties. All ties. (waves hand in severing type
motion)
Which by the way is research in itself because we now know what those ties
are cuz he wrote it up. Mm hmm. (nods head)
[NOTE: several distinct mannerisms in action (hand motions, etc. etc.)
during the saying of the above by Pat.]
And then on January 24th ..... he laid down on his bed ..... and he left.
And that was it. And the attorneys were notified, and the rest is as Mr.
Cooley described. "
[Note: Pat seems to be uncomfortable after saying the above, licking his
lips several times, shifts his weight, looks down, clears throat, looks away
etc.]
During that week from the 19th to the 24th..... (looking down, licks lips)
um ..... (licks lips, shifts jaw) he knew I would be ..... at sometime or
another ..... addressing you scientologists and ..... he expressly stated
that I was to tell you that there was to be (pointing at the audience) NO
grief
grief ..... and NO mourning.
(audience claps)
I'll tell you why he said that because he asked, I told him that I, of
course I would say that and he said "Do you think there will be some
anyway?" I .. I said (audience laughing) quite possibly. (audience laughing)
(clear throat) and he reiterated it. He said "Well you tell them, DON"T LET
THERE BE even the remotest possibility that SOME will try to unintentionally
INVALIDATE themselves. They KNOW they're not a body, don't let them be
confused about it."
(audience cheering and clapping for quite a while)
Is that agreed? (audience "yeah!") Excellent.
Second thing I wanna mention (clear throat) .....is that for the first time,
for the FIRST time, since 1980, um....... was the management of the Church
able to be TOTALLY, COMPLETELY, WEANED from, his having, to take over and
straighten things out. (audience cheer and clap). COMPLETELY!
Wha..(shrugs and puts hands out) What that produced was it allowed him to,
DO his own hat.(licks lips, shrugs and puts hands out again)
Second thing, sorry, uh..The third thing I want to mention is... (licks
lips) (shrugs puts hands out) what's gonna happen to the tech.
(shrug and put hands out) That's easy. (shrugs puts hands out) (points
finger up and shakes it) Firstly there's existing materials. So what happens
to the tech is ... it STAYS, EXACTLY, LIKE, IT, IS. (both hands used to
emphasise each emphasized word above )
(audience cheer and clap)
With one exception, is that currently, for some time for 3 4 years, there's
been an ahh..EXHAUSTIVE, ah..search, on .... for those issues .... that...
got sandbagged through somehow or another and what we're doing is
....checking them against LRH's ....tapes. He gave conferences and
briefings. His words are there. (shrug and wave hands out) uh those things
that came off his typewriter, those things that were written under his own
hand, and ..... despatches, and ..... and notes that were written by
Commodore's messengers which can actually be verified. To .....completely
sort out...the wheat from the chaff. The truth, from the crap. And you've
seen some of these in the.. in the past years.
(stumbling) We're (unintelligble) we're right coming .... we're coming right
down to the road on that. And there's gonna be just a little bit more,
because luckily those, alleged, thetans, involved, haven't been with us in a
number of years and so thats ....we're almost at the end of that.
By the way, the percentage of that ... (clear throat)...... Get the idea of,
ALL the tapes. all the tapes, ALL the books, ALL the policy letters, ALL the
bulletins, all the films, ALL the writings .... ALL the COLLECTED WORKS,
just get that idea. Just one copy each! Get the idea of HOW MUCH that would
be. What kind of space that would consume.
AMONG that now, it would probably fill this stage. AMONG that now, are the
ones that we're weeding out, which would amount to ohhh... I would say,
about that much. (tears off a little scrap of paper and throws it to the
floor). It's insignificant. That's the existing tech.
What I'm saying is 99.99999... STAYS.
Now, the NEW stuff. (clear throat and wipes his lips with hand) OT 8 is
completely written up and currently in the hands of International management
as ah... as you know. What's gonna happen is .... um, Senior C/S Int Ray
Mithoff has promised me that he's FULL BORE on finishing his Solo NOTs, and,
he's gonna be the first one to do it, and I'm gonna C/S it and ... at that
time Ray will... ummm.... possibly even before he's done with it, we'll have
a few of the other C/S's in ... um... first priority being the ship's crew
who are necessary to deliver this. And hopefully that will (stumbling)
uhsuh.. will dovetail with uh.. managements... uh... current effort to get
the ship. And when the sea trials are done, any refits necessary, any
corrections fully complimented, fully trained, then off it goes. It is
christened, and OT 8 is delivered. That's done.
OT IX and OT X, are also written up. Finished.
There are SEVERAL, other OT levels, that uh.... it is my job to compile. It
consists of taking what he, has written, and, putting it, essentially, in
paragraph form. Adding the appropriate HCOB references, uh that
entail....the ... that go along with the auditing necessary to do this
particular level. And they'll be released in due course.
We have materials.....that are in this form....in his... uh.. in his in
his... in his, in a.... thick sheaf of notes per..uh folder. Of OT 11, OT
12, OT 13 and so forth. And then about....oh a stack this high, (sticks arm
out horizontally, height from floor is approximately 3-4 feet) to be sorted
out, for subsequent OT's. (corrects himself) OT levels.
We also by the way have the... OT level... that is going to be done...
immediately after every thetan, discards his or her body. He wrote that up
before he went. (audience clapping)
Now this....don't take that as an invitation, (audience laughs) because you
don't get it til you're through with the OT level before it.
But KNOW (halting speech)....that...when it's time, the tech is there. So
you're not... left with, "what do I do now?" or even having to figure it out
for yourself. It's there. We're uhh..that will be written up right away.
Cause we have that... umm... word for word, and it'll be archived and made
uh...and made safe. And it will be eventually, available, at Flag, and other
AO's, and people will be allowed, to come into AOLA, (BEFORE they discard
it) Read the materials, check out on them, be word-cleared, demo...(audience
laugh), so you know it! Now you know it! Now you're ready.. for when.. it
happens. (audience laugh) He..he finished his job. There's ...... there's
not, there's not mut else, much else to say except that, what he came to do,
he DID. NOW! Now that he's out there, now he in..embarks upon his FURTHER OT
research - at a COMPLETELY NEW level. That's exactly what he's doing now.
(audience clapping for quite a while)
(clear throat) And the fourth and last thing I wanna say ....and THIS is
important. This is VERY VERY important. If you learn nothing else here
tonight, then LEARN THIS. If you take nothing with you, TAKE THIS. Ummm...
there IS, IS..not NOT was, IS, there IS.. ONLY.. ONE ..SOURCE. All right?
It's very important you understand that. Of course you know you're here. But
you know just HONE IN on it a little bit. SOURCE DOES NOT PASS, to
management. SOURCE DOES NOT PASS from LRH to ANY OTHER thetan. SOURCE IS
SOURCE. What MADE source? What IS IT about LRH, that was source? His
technology. His discoveries. His Grades. His OT levels. Nobody else. NObody
else. EVER! - discovered it. He did. That's what made him source, and WE
STILL have that. Therefore, SOURCE, is with us and it IS HIM. If you
remember that there was ONLY ONE and WILL be only one and there IS only one.
NO other management body, NO other individual, then you be ok. Because now
you know WHO'S stuff to read, WHO'S stuff.. to apply.... and don't listen to
the others. And if you DO apply his stuff, then you're there. It's as simple
as that.
