Geir Isene, an OT VIII in very good standing in CoS, has has after two
years of private research just announced that he is no longer a member
of the Church of Scientology. Here is his the beginning of his
announcement:

[START QUOTE]
To: relevant parties

Geir Isene's Doubt writeup on the Church of Scientology, 2009-08-07

My name is Geir Isene. I am a Norwegian public Scientologist. I became
a Scientologist in 1984. In 2006 I attested to OT VIII. I have had an
enormous amount of spiritual gain from my 25 years in Scientology. I
have seen similar gains in my family and friends and in countless of
others I have met and helped with the teachings of Scientology. The
gains are there to be had but can be suppressed by malpractice and
suppression of free will. After two years of extensive research, I
have decided to leave the Church of Scientology. I am not leaving
Scientology, only the church. In fact, I consider that the present
management is not practicing it's teachings, and that in order for me
to continue practicing Scientology, I need to leave the church and its
suppressive management. The management of Scientology is creating
massive bad PR for the technology developed by L. Ron Hubbard and
others. By equating the Church of Scientology with the Scientology
Technology, the church is lending it's bad PR to the technology
through its oppressive acts.

I acknowledge and validate the many good staff and public
Scientologists that are working assiduously to help others with
Scientology. I acknowledge that great results are accomplished. It is
hard work indeed. It is made harder by mismanagement.

Contrary to what we are led to believe, the church is not the fastest
growing religion on earth, there are not 8 million Scientologists and
the PR for Scientology is not good. It is in fact among the worst of
all religions {1}. This is not caused by "someone else". It is caused
by the church management. As one knows when studying Scientology and
attaining spiritual freedom, one is causing one's own enemies. It's
time to stop the technology of L. Ron Hubbard from being dragged down
by misapplication and the ensuing bad PR.

I hereby submit my writeup on sorting out my own doubts regarding the
church. I am a Scientologist. I will continue to help people with the
Scientology technology, but I am no longer a member of the Church of
Scientology. The following is a valid WOIM list. For explanation on
markup, see the WOIM definition page {2}. References in Appendix A.

I can imagine. His writeup is thorough, and I get the impression that
his opinion carries quite a bit of clout, at least in Norway. Maybe
this will lead to a major exodus like the one that occurred in Holland
several years ago.

Sounds like Geir and Marty Rathbun will get along fine. Even if they
are deluded, these Ron's Org types provide a nice rationale for True
Believers to desert Miscavige. Wouldn't it be fun to see a full-blown
mutiny?

The usual, any that say something positive about the Scientology/
dianetics technology is deluded. You comment is in fact suppressive...
and of course you offer no research/evaluation thereof. You sound like
'Kat'...

Welcome to what? He will not agree with you dear Andreas, he is
positive about the subject of Scientology/Dianetics where you are most
definitely not.

Good. I find Kat's posts intelligent and well opinionated, unlike
yours. So do you think the Scienetology/Dianetics technology is better
practiced outside the Cof$ than inside the organization?

I'll bet you won't answer that.

Roadrunner

That's ALL you people can give as an answer, opinions, but no
supported analysis... ALL that Kat does is giving opinions, when
asked for support or her 'research', she has excuses EVERY SINGLE TIME
and NEVER OFFERING any of her research. Thus in my book she is noted
as being quite silly.

I infact did offer research which she attempted to demolish by SOLE
OPINION, again no specifications were provided for. WTF is wrong with
you people, it is all too unsensical and for all CHILDISH behaviour.
It is a sickness, a mental sickness.

Yes, welcome to the real world.

Give him some time and some real evidence and who knows....he might
agree with Andreas.

So you want some research? Read SNAPPING
by Conway and Seigleman(?) The disposal of Scientology cult mind
garbage takes longer than getting rid of the mind garbage of any other
cult....about two years. Give the newly out some time to recover.
The longer in, the longer it takes to recover from Hubbard
"processing".

So what if the early "courses" may be beneficial, but other self-help
programs can be just as effective and most of them don't take over
your life.

You sound a lot like Barbara Schwarz....all
blow and no show.

Why would it matter? For now, this guy and Marty are probably doing
more to get committed members out of Scientology by providing a
convenient rationalization: LRH good; DM bad!

Let them go have their little Ron's Org auditing parties. Power to
them!

Hello to every one here!

This is such a good news!
I think this period we will have a wave of OT coming out of COS
because they KNOW how things really are inside, not like the fresh
public scientologists.
I guess scientology works! LOL
You become OTIX when as an OT you decide to leave the church, and OTX
when you actively freee other OTs from the Church of Scientology.

Eldon, sweetie, did "I" say it would matter?
I was just trying to answer RR's "opinion" and suggest something that
might happen if the newly out were given time and evidence to change
their minds. An addiction, as you well know, is not simple to
quit.

True and I find no fault with that. In fact, I think it's great.
But
others have come to a realization that Hubbard was also evil AFTER
being out in the real world and learning the truth about Hubbard.

LOL....like football Saturday parties??? Fine as long as the "little

Give him some time. Just like Marty. They can't face the fact that
Hubbard was the original evil shit, so they blame it all on Miscavige.
But that's OK. He's available and Hubbard is not.

And not just Kat. There's a whole bunch of people whose comments are "in
fact suppressive".

That's because poet, explorer and philanthropist L Ron Hubbard left a
towering legacy of whup ass k00k, of which you, Space, are just a small
part.

If Geir and his friends want to play ufo nut cult with a magic meter,
that's just peachy by me. Or even if he just wants to look words up in
Fluff's Mystic Spelling Bee, why should I care?

At heart, Geir's criticisms of Co$ are very similar to mine. The difference
between us is I'm prepared to use Hubbard's towering legacy of whup ass
k00k to apply pressure to Co$ and its front groups. It seems people like
Eldon, Kat and a lot of others are too.

So expect a lot more "in fact suppressive" comments. And *do* keep on
identifying the suppressives who make the comments. Whup ass k00k.

When this is over, freexoners will still be able to have a magic meter and
a ufo nut cult. Provided they don't act like Co$.

You are not!? And thank you for admitting that what you think is
irrelevant. What a relief! After all I really was thinking that your
insults, invalidations and name calling was in fact relevant to you.
But now I know it isn't.
Is that why you spent 1400 pages NOT to support your opinions?
Is that why you spent 11,000 to smear a person? Because it is
irrelevant what you think?
May I ask what the fuck you you are doing here when it is not to spout

Childish utterances, in fact they are very incoherent and of twisting
nature. You assume a false basis and then operate from that ...
Typical brainwash technique as you assume this basis to be true, but
you are NOT addressing that basis, you only use it as a jumping board.
