This is a story Tilman failed to report.

Koos Nolst Trenite taken by police for suspected murder....

A friend in Munich sent me this translation of an article in Abendzeitung on
September 22, 2000. The names have been changed to hide the identity of the
family, but "Jakobus N" can only be Koos. This tragic event, was the result of
a deranged mind driven to violence by the hate spread on a.r.s.

ABENDZEITUNG 22.09.2000

THE MYSTERIOUS DEATH OF FREYA

Did the father kill the nineteen year old?

Freya N. was only 19 years old when the ambulance was called to her death on the
25th of December 1999. When the medical man entered the room, a bad feeling
came over him: In the whole house in the small village near Forchheim, the song
"Oh Haupt voll Blut und Wunden" (Oh Head full of blood and wounds) by Bach
resounded deafeningly.

The father of the deceased, Jakobus N., and his son Nils (18) were standing
motionless in the room -- no crying, no sorrow. The doctor called the police.
The autopsy established that Freya N. had drowned. Three quarters of a year
later, her death is still considered unsolved and the public prosecutor is
investigating.

Yesterday morning, the police picked Jakobus N. up in handcuffs -- he was sent
to a psychiatric clinic because he was considered to be a public menace.

For several years, his family was subject to his methods of torture. He
tortured his wife Carla (named changed) with gushes of cold water. The 60 year
old: "What if he has done the same to Freya?"

On that day in December, after Freya's death, Jakobus N. gave a letter, written
by Freya, to the criminal police: "This morning, I took another cold bath of the
minutes," his daughter had written the morning of the day of her death. Which
19 year old voluntarily takes a cold bath in winter? And notes that down? The
answers can be found with Carla N., Freya's mother. After years of torture, she
took refuge in the womens' house in Nurnberg in 1997. When the artist met her
husband 24 years ago, he was a member of the Scientology sect. Jakobus' life
goal, to move up in the sect hierarchy, was however prevented by sect leaders.

In that time, Freya and Nils were born, and in 1983, Flavia. At that time, the
family was living in Heidelberg. When the weak baby was sick and could hardly
breathe, Jakobus forbid calling a doctor or using nose drops, and Carla obeyed.
Ten days after her birth, the child suffocated. The doctor attested the sudden
death of the child. In the Internet, he later distributes his delusion. "L.
Ron Hubbard was trying to kill him hereafter," Carla N. describes his frame of
mind. Freya had to update the web pages daily. Carla N. succeeded in running
away to the women's house, and the children remained with the father. Just after
Freya's death, the public prosecutor proposed the father be arrested. Jakobus N.
remains in freedom, the police were searching for evidence.

"Did Jakobus N. torture her to death?" a question the mother has been asking
herself over and over since then. The senior public prosecutor Friedrich Kraus
is still investigating the death of Freya.

I would hardly characterize Koos as a "critic." He was a
scientologist all the way. If the story is true and if Koos in
fact murdered his daughter, then the blame can be well laid on the
steps of scientology who undoubtedly interfered with Koos
obtaining timely and effective treatment for his delusions.

And if true, this is another blow against the criminal mind-numb
known as scientology and reinforces the need to get out the
critical message that scientologist takes both your money and
your life of both you *and* your loved ones.

Well, who had driven Koos (if that's who it is) to this point to start
with? It definitely wasn't ARS. It sounds like Koos has been going this
way for the longest time.

Describing Koos as a 'critic' is a bit silly. Koos has always demonstrated
here that he is a convinced and ardent Scientologist. He happens also to
be a dissident Scientologist and quite blatantly insane. This is a man who
seems to believe that he has done auditing on Hubbie himself repeatedly in
the past few years. The idea that one can get anything useful from
Scientology's 'auditing' marks him as a Scientologist. The idea that he
can do it on the departed soul of Hubbard himself marks him as a complete
loon.

That is of course well-known to anyone who has read a.r.s for very long. I
doubt that anyone who has followed this newsgroup for more than a few
months would be really shocked if in fact it turns out that Koos is the
person cited in the report you quoted and is in fact dangerously
criminally insane.

What ever gave you the idea Koos is a critic? He is obviously a product
of too much scientology processing and his mind has turned into a
puddle. And what gives you reason to assert that this poor individual is
Koos?

You have graphically demonstrated how truly ignorant you are when it comes to
actual knowledge of Scientology. What you have just said is as ludicrous as
declaring yourself, "a convinced and ardent Scientologist." And *that* we know

As far as I'm concerned, the most probable conclusion is that the whole

koos considers himself to be the pre-eminent scientologist in the world.

He is raving nuts so the claim does have some validity.

A shill posts an article which shows what his/her cult actually produces in its
members and publicly exposes scientology for what it is.

Good job, oh anonymous one.

There was probably a really good reason that OSA did not want this posted and

Look, cunt, people don't like a bunch of thieves locking up a woman
without proper food and water until she dies of thirst: if you call
that spreading hate then hate [read "sanity"] has spread to everyone
except your fraudulent cult. Furthermore it is a matter of record

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Reasons for suspecting this is a troll.
(1) The person has a native German name "Jackobus N_______".
The sock puppet says "this must be the real name of the person
who posts as Koos Nolst Trenite", because the daughter is
called Freya. However, Jon Atack and others have met
Koos Nolst Trenite, a Dutch citizen who spent some time
in England and now lives in Germany, who really is
named Koos [pronounced "caws" like a crow does] Nolst Trenite.
(2) Koos lives in the "town" of Gaiganz, which is like the
"town" of Brooklyn -- actually part of a larger conurbation;
it is not a small village, and AFAIK it is not near Forchheim.
(3) I suppose the Abendzeitung ["Evening News"] must be
the Munich Evening News -- I don't know whether or not
such a paper exists, but we could check.
(4) It is now a little after the end of Monday 26th September
and the sock puppet quotes a paper dated Friday 22nd September
as saying "yesterday morning," the morning of Thurs 21st Sept,
"the police picked Jakobus N up in handcuffs."
(5) Below we have an article posted at 19:35 hours GMT+2hours
[17:35hrs GMT] Thursday TEATIME, by Koos Nolst Trenite. Bit
difficult if he was locked up on Thursday MORNING, wot?
Note also that the host is in FRANKFURT, which iirc is also
where Gaiganz is located.
I hope this is untrue. Granted Koos' posts were more than a little
I don't get the "Abendzeitung", it doesn't appear in the press search
engines. Nor is this story related to ars - everyone knows that I have
criticized Koos for years and that many others did. Ars folks have
always characterized Koos as a nutcase. My Koos FAQ even have the words
"I fear the worst" for the children. This was written years before the
alleged death.
However there is more to tell...
1)
I got two phone calls a few months ago, that did tell about this alleged
death (and the information given is the same as in the article!).
However they were somewhat suspicious - for example, one of the people
promised to follow-up with some papers, but never did. My thought was:
if the story was true, then the state attorney would do his job anyway;
if the story was false, then I would libel Koos by telling it.
2)
A few years ago, when Jutta left Koos and he claimed that she was a
"criminal", I did send a sample of Koos' rants to the police there, but
never heard anything from them.
Melikes the fact that admitting that such a place as ARS could be the cause
of a murder would put scientology hate policies, rules, ethics, discuissions
and all the DA packs, OSA's confidential materials, at great risk of
becoming proofs of scientology being a source of murderers.
THEY do or did.
Koos is a Scientologist who -- like most Scientologists -- hate what
their managers are doing only Koos isn't afraid to say so.
I don't think so. He isn't nuts in the completely mindless
violent cretin sense, he's just nuts in the usual Scieno
Not exactly. Koos seems to currently believe that LRH turned evil around
1965. However, Koos does seem to believe that he is the 'Ambassador for
Mankind' and that LRH's silly 'technology' is a great tool for finding
truth and making people more sane. He is not a particularly good example
of that.
His last posting was at 7pm on Thursday 21st September, and a
newspaper dated Friday the 22nd of September supposedly says
that YESTERDAY MORNING (the MORNING of Thursday 21st September)
Jacobus N_____ was taken away in handcuffs.
So he was taken into a mental hospital before noon, and back
posting on the a.r.s. by 7pm? Surely some contradiction....
Besides, Koos ["cores"] Nolst Trenite is not a made up name
for use on the Internet, because friends of mine met a real person
of that name in the 1970s. I suppose it is just possible that he
only uses his real name on the Internet, and tells everyone else
he is "Jackobus N____". But it's getting unlikely, isn't it??
I'm not so sure about that. Check out Koos' homepage:
http://www.trenite.de/
Follow the link to "English pages" ("Deutsche Seiten" brings up a 404
error). It brings up a page which, among other things, claims that "Koos
is at the moment in a mental hospital, and will be staying there for an
unknown amount of time." (The text of this page was also emailed to me,
purportedly by Noel Nolst Trenite.)
Furthermore, the link to Koos' "Ambassador to Mankind" pages, which was
working last night, also brings up a 404 error.
Last night, when I discovered this thread, I decided to do a little
looking around in Koos' "Ron's Inspector" bulletins; difficult as they
were to wade through, some of them do seem to corroborate some of the
facts of this alleged article, though it's quite possible that they were
the *source* of the "article's" facts.
Of course, it could also be that some cracker hit Koos' site, put up a
fake page and deleted others, emailed the text of the fake page to any
email addresses found there, and then posted a bogus message on ars. But
why anyone would want to do that is beyond me.
You just don't get it, do you? Critics don't take orders (like you do),
they don't report to anyone (like you do), therefore there is no one to
put pressure on (as pressure is put on you to produce).
Stop projecting your insanity onto others. Your problems are not theirs.
Koos likes to audit. You do, too. Hopefully your hold on reality (what
am I saying? Locomotives on Venus and Piltdown Man??) is a little more
secure.
Koss was as ardent a Scientologist as any the ever walked
on Planet Teegeeack. It was Koos who for years now has
used his E-meter to audit Hubbard's thetan at a galaxy far, far away.
Even though booted from Scientology for being kookier and
more troublesome than they could handle, Koos has never doubted
the E-meter or Hubbard's basic claims, despite his delusions.
Koos took the line of 'research' the insane Hubbard
started and took it to the farthest reaches, but make no
mistake, Koos kookery was not different in kind, just in
its intensity.
I think about every long time critic here has at one point or other in
the past acquired Koos' disdain, has alledgedly been remotely
audited by Koos and found by Koos E-meter to have
been a high ranking Nazi in an earlier lifetime.
Koos was a true believer in the power of the E-meter.
The E-meter is never wrong. Koos learned that from Hubbard.
Today I found an e-mail in my box from the son of Koos.
Koos has apparently been instiutionalized after a long
Unless this e-mail is a hoax, something odd is going on here.
William was correct as usual... Koos believed that what the meter
said was true. he had Hubbards brainwash up his ass clear to the end
even though he came to hate the man and see many of his fatal errors.
Koos was in the final analysis still stuck to Hubbards dogma of hate
then sent (and time-stamped) when someone else logged the machine on.
You're assuming that I replied to your post to say I disagreed with
you. Either that, or you're just a complete moron. The again, the
latter conclusion does appear to be the most probable one, under the
circumstances.
Uhunh. Well, on the objective evidence, the complete moron
must be the person whose remarks bear no relation either to
the reality or to the foregoing discussion.
So, let's get this right. When you said............
.....you were not in the slightest denying my statements stating I
now believed that the story was true, and that I had been mistaken
[though not without some grounds] to at first think it was false.
By the time you wrote this, anyone on the ball had enough evidence
before them to see that the story was in fact true and the apparent
contradictions had been resolved.
That's Mr Pope Charles to you, anonymous coward boy.
Its not that I
I lost it long ago, you never had it. Koos went so far overboard,
he apparently brutalized his family and killed his own daughter.
Koos isn't funny anymore.
That sort of brutal behavior is typical in Scientology's
seo org and 'advanced' orgs, we have been regaled with
tales of bizarre brutality, collousness and rank stupidity in Scientology
for years. Scientology has left a long line of broken lives, suicides,
PTSIII's and ruined people behind it.
Koos was just follow the familiar line of behavior he learned from
Hubbard's insane cult.
He lost it, but so did Hubbard and so have the many who more or
less aped Hubbard's insane and psychotic abuse of family, follwers and
anybody who ever got in his way.
Your cult sucks, even you deep down know it.
The insanity comes when you suppress that obvious bit
of reality until you can become as callous and abusive and make a proper
tool for the cult to use in this manner.
Koos was once, mildly amusing, but he certainly is not now.
And like most loonies, criticism or pointing out flaws do not help his
kind. Not much I can do for people like him at long distance.
But long ago, I stopped responding to him. Either teasing him, or feeding
his madness, refusing to feed his ego which took criticism all
too often as a sign he was doing something Hubardarian and was
being attacked because he was such a genius amongst evil
SP controlled by implants.
Perhaps if more had followed my example, Freya might still be alive,
Now, what do you suggest to end the abuses, the uglibness, the
exploitation, the disconnections and other nonsense Scioentology high
ranking Koos types inflict on trusting Scientologists daily?
Koos madness was not different from these in kind, just intensity and
details.
Hate? Not even that.
Hubbard had a very 18th century view of the Universe.
He posited a Universe of cause and effect that mandated
any being who saw his way out of the illusions Hubbard
theorized would be attacked mindlessly by automatons
running implants and other control devices.
It was an 18th century clockwork world.
He though he could come up with a clockwork scheme
to whirr and chime his way to the home Universe.
All he did was create a Universe of delusions
and clockwork hate for bogeymen of his own creation.
You can see that on the streets of Clearwater apparently.
Clockwork Scientologists with clockwork programs,
reliable, limited, easily manipulated at a low level
by simple phrases or actions.
Nice try, clambot, but Koos is one of yours.
He was probably always a bit loopy, but elron really sent him off the
deep end.
It's really a shame that your criminal nut-cult put such a terror of
psychiatry into him that he never sought competent professional help
before it came to this.
