We already have a good idea of how ineptly managed privacy.lie's servers
are from their expired SSL certificates. Here's a little more information
in that vein.

They're running Apache 2.0.53. Current version is 2.2.4. Security
backports for their Fedora distribution is at 2.0.55. They'd be better off
running the 1.x branch if they cared about security at all and didn't
want to invest the huge amount of time and effort it takes to run
'yum update' every once in a while. ;)

PHP is a total disaster at version 4.3.11. Current is 5.2.3. Latest v4
branch is 4.4.7 with so many security updates between 4.3.11 and latest
that it's impossible to count them all. They're literally a PHP back door
waiting to be opened. Since they're running the 2.x branch of Apache they
could upgrade to the 5.x PHP branch. If they really cared about
protecting users.

They're running linux kernel 2.6.17.4-grsec found to have root exploit
vulnerabilities almost a year ago. I think the generic 2.6 Linux kernel is
up to about 2.6.21.5, with most distros patched up to 2.6.20.x levels. The
latest grsec kernel is 2.6.19.x I believe.

They have literally dozens of information leaking pages and scripts
on their web site. From admin tools, to "shopping cart" databases, to
banner rotation scripts known to be vulnerable to SQL injection attacks.
No BS, there are at the very least 70 known vulnerabilities. Most of
them are junk that should have been removed still in default locations.
Relying on the odds that nobody will bother looking I guess?

Here's a sample of they way they leak information in bulk. Nothing
compromising user information. I wouldn't do that myself but this a
real example of how good their so called security is. An important
piece of information considering the way they claim to be able to make
everyday services more secure than anyone else.

http://www.privacy.li/phpinfo.php

Get it while it's hot. I'll bet it's removed pretty quick.

If you go anywhere near privacy.lie you better be very careful. Lord
knows what the other net scumbags or law enforcement has already swiped
from the lazy bums and making their weaknesses public won't help the
situation at all unless they get off their butts and do something about
it.

Lies, i tried that link and it's not working. It shows again how far
cotse is willing to go to protect their logging services.

If you claim it's not secure, proof it, go ahead, hack it and let the
people know. I bet you can't you lamer cause you're first line helldesk
puppet :)

Dumbass, you should be thanking him instead of calling him a liar. I got
there no problem before you took care of it.
Now at least there's no doubt that you have administrative access to that
machine. Some nerve calling other people puppets.

You're still a cotse puppet, no matter what lies you try to post here.

Also try next time to conceal your adsl ip:

adsl-75-61-102-183.dsl.pltn13.sbcglobal.net

People will report you to your provider for being a pedophile trying to
get back on good services. Not even cotse will protect you now.

I find it a bit odd that all of a sudden you've developed the ability to
use capitol letters and proper punctuation in most of the right places.

Careful now, don't "overcompensate" or anything. You know how you get when
you're desperate. You stop paying attention to all the little details that
separate your sock puppets. Like their names. ;)

Thanks for removing your phpinfo script and rushing back to deny it by

myself. I'm so good I even scare myself sometimes.

I predicted this, did I not? It's nice to know I can make privacy.lie
administration jump on command. ;)

Thanks for confirming that the page existed. I was hoping someone would
because I was sure the gutless worm would start denying its existence as
soon as it was removed.

For what it's worth I wasn't kidding about the 70+ other problems I
discovered, and that's with just a simple scan. A bit on the shady side I
admit. It had to be done though. Maybe I'll start leaking things a little
bit at a time just to watch them jump on command every once in a while. ;)

Of course. This is one of the reasons I made the post in the first place.
To see who would do the jumping. It's even more proof that Georg Adem
is alive and well and playing all the same games he's always played.

I'll clip the full quote of "the page that never existed" just because
it's too long, but I also have a copy of the original HTML. There's a lot
of good information there even without any further exposure on my part.
It's obvious privacy.lie "security" is a pathetic joke.

It *is* a Tor node, and an exit node. With a pretty standard set of
rejected IP:PORT combinations followed by the usual 'accept *:*'

Gawd, you really are a clueless fuck, aren't you? OF COURSE, it's a Tor exit
node... how else would you be seeing that IP address as it was used to enter
your unsecured server?

And if you knew anything about Tor, you'd realize that even if he were
running that Tor node, his traffic wouldn't be exiting THROUGH that Tor
node, as it's got to hop through three Tor nodes in order to exit.

So, you're even more clueless than we'd ever imagined.

Hence, I'm also including alt.usenet.kooks in the Newsgroups: line, and
recommending that you be nominated for the Clueless Newbie of the Month
award.

First, you're a 'supposed' anonymous remailer operator <snicker... yeah,
right.>... so you should know better.

Second, you're bound and determined to 'out' anyone as a pedo that dares to
oppose your stupidity... even to the point of 'outing' a Tor exit node.

Third, even after you're shown that the IP in question is a Tor exit node,
you desperately cling to the hope that the person you're going obsesso over
actually runs that Tor node... except that in doing so, you only show even
more of your utter cluelessness.

Seconds, anyone?

And finally (although I'm sure this isn't the final bout of stupidity we'll
see from privacy.li), this isn't the first time you've been caught 'outing'
an IP address that belongs to a Tor exit node... in fact, this is the second
time THIS WEEK that you've done it.

It's bad enough that you're so clueless that you don't understand how
anonymity works, yet you're running an anonymous remailer, but the fact that
you're running an anonymous remailer, and publishing the IP addresses of
people accessing your server, while insinuating that they're pedophiles
makes you the most vile scum on the face of the planet.

You're spying on the users of your anonymity service, then outing them...
which is more kookish than anything I've ever witnessed.

So, someone give me a second on this nomination of Privacy.li for Clueless
Newbie of the Month... this fucker deserves it.

I don't think people would feel like they do if this particular retard
didn't come running into the room and shit himself for no apparent reason
at all.

I for one don't feel a bit bad for him either. He's a career criminal and a
pedophile. Either one alone is reason enough to use him for target
practice. Put the two together and it's almost morally wrong to not beat
him with a brick every chance you get.

I don' think it's possible for it be more than one person. No living thing
could be so stupid that it would still defend privacy.LIE after all the
ugly, incompetent, hateful bullshit that's been uncovered about them in
the last couple years.

The guy is a confessed pedophile anyway so who cares? Whether you lump his
pedophile ass in with Adem or not he's still not worth anything. Let him
stay with his own kind. I don't WANT the disgusting pervert on my side.

Speak for yourself. The pervert will never find peace now no matter what
he says or does. He borked that up a very, very long time ago. It's too
late.

It is nice to see he's finally getting some of the official recognition he

My son is retarded. That's not a bad word to me, and I take no offense
when anybody uses it. He is what he is. And he does do funky things with
shit and what have you, and gets so pissed off sometimes that things get
really out of hand. It ain't funny then, cuz he's 6'3" and 300+ lbs. But
anyway, he's the light of my life and I love him to death and he loves me.
He's inadvertantly taught me the meaning of life and happiness.

But to liken the sort of criminal perverts we're dealing with here re
privacy.li with retardation, that kinda gets under my skin a little.
There's such a difference between being STUPID/CRIMINAL and being RETARDED.
Again, I'm not offended, but personally I'd rank these dipshits like 100
points BELOW retarded on a scale of people who should be allowed to exist.

I love retarded - you should try it sometime.

BUT I HATE STUPID.

All my kids are raised and out on their own, pervert. Nothing to see
here. Move along.

You might try my oldest son's house. He has a 9 year old boy.

Mind the shotgun, though. <snicker>

You're right. It's insulting to those poor unfortunate people with mental
handicaps, and the people who care about them. Adem is willfully criminal,
he didn't get that way just because he doesn't know any better or couldn't
do anything else with his life. That's a different type of defect all
together.

Pity that the nominator and both seconders posted via anonymous
remailers or other anonymous services. I don't accept votes from dizum
and borked.pseudo.mailed nor from privacy.net addresses unless I know
the poster very well, so I won't accept nominations or seconds from
those sources either. HTH. HAND!

Okay. Then I nominate or second, whatever you want. Google Groups
will confirm I've been around for years.

Ok, what the heck, I'll second henri's nomination...

I haven't seen cluelessness on this scale since my flame-war with that idiot
SuN Tsu (aka Glen Anthony Christina of New Orleans, LA). Christina got the
Clueless Newbie of the Month for his cluelessness, and I think Privacy.li
(Georg Adem, is it?) lives up quite nicely to that standard.

Plus, he's a much more entertaining kook than SuN Tsu ever was, from the
looks of it.
