Here's my copy of it. This isn't the formal repository but it's not
bundled there and only available thru Subversion.

The tarball extracts into ./mixmaster-3.1a1 in there will be an
executable script called Install. That should do all the work for you
providing the prereqs are met.

I'm using the tarballs i said above and as a result i'm getting this:

At the above question i have answered Yes

and also to this question i answered first Yes than No but the result is
still:

These are all the tarballs i used to compile mixmaster going from the
actual mixmaster to openssl ncurses etc.:

Mixmaster isn't finding your libcrypto.a library. As a first step I'd
try and locate it:-

find /usr -name libcrypto.a

If that turns up a location for it then you can edit the Install file
and add the library path to $INCDIR.

Even if i don't include anything in the $INCDIR variable the Install
script finds ,as you see above, the libcrypto.a file but it doesn't
manage to compile mixmaster-3.0 .
Compilation with mixmaster-3.1a1 is even worst.
Once you gave me this file: mix-3.1-alpha1-esubbf it has all necessary
in Src dir but it ends up with the same above error ... it's getting
frustrating ...

Sorry about the problems, at least you've moved forward and libcrypto.a
is being found. The next problem you have is a bug in pgp.c. This was
reported quite recently by someone else but I don't recall what the
outcome was.

Please can you replace your pgp.c file in /Src with the one I've just
uploaded to http://www.mixmin.net/pgp.c. Then do a 'make clean' and
rerun the install. This version of pgp.c removes an option to mimic the PGP
v2.6.3 Version header. It's not used unless options are specially set
during compliation so functionality will remain unchanged.

Nothing has changed.
I have downloaded the pgp.c file in Src the 'make clean' gave me this:

> $ make clean
> make: *** No rule to make target `clean'. Stop.

and the ./Install gave me the same error of the previous post this in
both mix3.0 and mix3.1hsub ... :-(

ok, it's probably easier if you start from a clean tarball. Delete your
mixmaster-3.1a1 directory then download and untar this one:
http://www.mixmin.net/mixmaster-3.1a1-test.tar.gz

Then run the Install as previously. If you added search locations to
INCDIR to solve the libcrypto.a issue you first experienced, you'll
probably need to do it again.

When i untared openssl in Src/ and than ran ./configure && make the
Install script found libcrypto.a no need to edit INCDIR variable , i
give it an another go ...

Just the pgp.c file. I striped out the conditional clause that was

pointing *ihave* to your INND (news-in mixmin net).
I need you to accept posting from my m2n address .

I think that's what made the difference between my previous compiling
and now . I apt-get installed this *libpcre3-dev* and i chose not to use
sources , isn't it ?
