It was not very hard for someone or some persons to steal your Identity.
This can most likely also be explained by the Police Detective that is
working on your case and who is back from his vacation at this time.
You have posted the following information to the NET not realizing
that people smart enough can easily pick up on it. I found it very
easily and in about 5 minutes
Your actual name
Your Credit Card Company and number
Your address
Your neighbors name and address
Your actual email address
Do you know David Paine?
Your boat being stored at a berth at the Scioto Boat Club
Pulling it from there to Norris Lake in August of last year
All your personal Info Height,Weight,Eye and Hair
Color,Age,Likes,Dislikes and etc on Dating sites from Germany to
Florida(Not mentioning any names)
And many more. AND I MEAN MUCH MUCH MORE
It does not take a genius to impersonate you on the NET and it is very
easy to do with the all of the above info.
So take a good look at yourself and your computer habits before you
continue to be more paranoid about the Identity Theft Issue.
You have brought it on yourself by ignorance in a way . You gave out all
pertinent info on yourself for everybody to see in the world.
We are all eager to help everybody here and that includes you BUT you
have to understand that if you look at everyone and everybody as a
potential whatever you want to call it then all you will end up is what
you are getting now.
Put some trust to people they are here to help you and also themselves
by having the enjoyment or gratification of learning and helping.
Drop the paranoid personality and start enjoying the computer and the
Internet.
And for G*d's sake put some trust into people.

As Aardvark will attest, I keep my narrowboat in the Midlands of the UK.

Yes, I've been wanting to tell him that "discriminating" has no
negative conotation by itself. Only when one is discriminating according
to things which one should not be is it a negatve thing (racial
discrimination, ethnic discrimination, etc...).
I fail to see how frustration is an inappropriate term for the
feelings one might have having lost a son in such a mysterious
circumstances.

turned seventeen last month. He also met my daughter, but she spent most
of the visit chatting with Mrs. BD at the other end of the boat.

Yes, and I remember the photo of you on shore and they on deck (or
standing in the hatch). Nice looking kids. I also saw the photo

Well, as I recall there was more to it than just that. Bad enough
losing a loved one, but a child should outlive its parent generally,
and add to that a cause of 'Sudden Adult Death Syndrome' or equivalent
that does nothing for closure (as if there really were such a thing as
closure).
Frustration would be how I would describe my feelings in such a
situation. Not only can't you do anything about it, you can't even put
your finger on what *it* is.
Drunk driver, maybe channel yourself into fighting drunk driving.
Cancer, maybe donate to the cause to find a cure. What do you do when
you don't know what happened?

When I was threatened (by email) - when I recovered the £245
fraudulently obtained from me (via PayPal) - I *did* report matters to

I did ask you to reconsider, and I'm glad you did! I didn't know
my plea had that much influence, we just met. :-)
The political climate here (US) is getting a little too
"Orwellian", and frankly they can do whatever they want. You
would be hurting many more people besides Dustin, and it would be
a huge waste of precious LE resources.
He may be a lot of things Dave, but ultimately he is a "good guy".
If I thought he posed a national security risk I'd drop the dime
on him myself.
I don't share private email stuff. If you wanted me to tell him I
asked you to "back-off" on your report, you could have asked! ;-)

You know what , I do not need to cite. It is there in plain white and black and a
matter of record and fact and few times in the Annex and MS newsgroups in
Sept,Nov,Dec 2006 and you can look it up. You are starting this citing game and if
you want to know then look it up yourself. Been in newsgroups but never one like
this where childish behavior exists such as you just did. If you do not take my word
for it and you are too lazy to look it up then it is too bad.
I been in newsgroups have been a group lead among many things for the last 27 yrs
since 1984,posted over 350 thousand posts since then and I have never seen so many
wanna bees as there is in this tiny group. Everyone with the exceptions of a few
think they know everything in life and of course they beat their chests and look
more and more like little children playing. Sorry to say,I also belong in this
category here since I joined all the games being played here.
You do and think what you want Mr. Morgan but if you want facts,then look it up. I
do not cite for anybody much less you.
Many know this as a fact for what you are asking for a cite and I do not need to
prove anything in this newsgroup. If you are lazy to find it then go to Annex or the
Private MVP group or most MVP's ,John Eddy the former head honcho of the MS
newsgroups and you might want to try and ask them.

Annex and MS newsgroups are not good enough for proof, it's still
just your word. Since you want an apology in the newspapers, is

As far as hacking goes, Dustin is your man. But you can't ask
someone to do something that a) may be unlawful and B) is not his
fight; and realistically expect him to help. Maybe had you shot
$500 in his PayPal account things would have been different.
Posting a street-view of what you think is his house aint too

Not as far as I am aware.
On the UK U2U group he was quite forceful in telling the moderator
there, Andrew Taylor, what he should/shouldn't do - but that was a long
time ago now.
The last time I looked on the UK U2U group it was effectively dead (as
it was when first *I* went there!). It didn't take long before all the
big guns from the US group came on over the pond to put me down! All
great fun! :)
At Aumha - one would need to know his posting name to be sure (I do not
know it). In fact, Robear Dyer (a good friend of PF - or so PF has said)
has also lied about me, BD, being banned by an ISP. It's simply not

He's told folk here that I offered to pay him, from my own purse, to
check that nothing untoward was being carried out at Annexcafe. That is
true. I *was* prepared to put my money where my mouth is!

Why do you think that if people want to garner facts from you they have
to depend on asking you a series of questions, each one tailored
according to the last answer you gave, and even then the questioner can't
be sure they've covered all the bases or gleaned the truth from you, when
with other people one question usually suffices?
You and Foldes are alike inasmuch as, having asked either of you a
question and receiving an answer of sorts, one is left with the feeling
that there's a high chance that neither of you have been totally
truthful.
