Seattle Man in Coma After Police Attack

Such is the case with Chris Harris, a clean-cut 29 year old server from
Edmonds , Washington
when he was wrongfully implicated in a stabbing incident in an alley of
the Belltown area of Seattle on May 12, 2009.
Not much was said until a store surveillance video was released which
showed Harris stopping on the sidewalk after a three block foot chase.
He appeared to have stopped to await the policeman when he was slammed
head first into a concrete wall, falling to the ground unconscious with
blood spurting from multiple
fractures in his skull.
The suspects who were implicated in the actual alley fight escaped the
scene after the chase ensued and have not been located.
No one knows why Harris chose to run away from police at the outset. His
injuries are such that he may never recover.
Seattle police chief Gil Kurlikowski was recently named U.S. Drug Czar
by President Obama.
