Thompson Park in Hudson was the site of an Easter Egg Harvest presented by the Hudson Jaycees. 150 children from Hudson and surrounding communities participate in harvesting the eggs. The Easter Bunny was also present to greet the area children. Although most of the eggs contained chocolates and other treats, some of the eggs contained prizes such as a model kit of a fire truck, 2 liter bottles of pop, kites, stuffed toys, Easter cookies, meals at area restaurants
and $50.00 and $100.00 savings bonds. "Project Chairperson Claire Gagnon did an excellent job. It was so cool to see her and her husband take on such a large project and complete it in such a big way." said Kip Smith, President of the Hudson Jaycees. Winners of $50.00 savings bonds were Daniel Rombach, Shane Gritzmaker and Arron Stanley. $100.00 savings bond winners were April Darr, Joshua Wyse and Nichole Miller. Smith added that the Hudson area is
a strong community, the resources and promotion we received in this project exemplifies that strength.
