Troy Herriage, 81; Pitched for Kansas City Athletics

Troy passed away after a long illness, in Atlanta, Georgia, his wife by his
side.

Born in Tipton Oklahoma to James and Hazel Herriage, Troy grew up in
Oakdale, Ca. attended Oakdale High School where he was instrumental in three
straight VOL [1] baseball championships. He was then was drafted out of
high school by the Kansas City Athletics. [2]

After a long career as a Design Engineer he enjoyed a second career as a Bed
and Breakfast owner, finally retiring and moving to Georgia.

Troy is survived by his wife Eleanor Herriage of Georgia, his children
Valerie (Steve) Cooper, Kelly (Mike) Musick, Kari (Bob) Anderson, Doug
(Delilah) Herriage all of Oakdale. His stepchildren Keirsten (Jeff) Casey of
Georgia, Keith (Erika) Dahlin of Colorado, Chandra (Jim) Gardner of Santa
Cruz, 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. His brother Robert
Herriage of MA. And numerous other family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on February 18, 2012 at the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1111 East A Street in Oakdale,
CA.

Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society
