Just a follow up on a past discussion. Is it true that all of the Madge Kennedy
silent films are lost?

Best Wishes,
James

Searching the UCLA Film and Television Archive, they have:
WALLS TELL TALES (1928), a Paramount short.
They also have 6 television appearances, plus W.C. FIELDS STRAIGHT UP.

Searching the LOC, they have:
OH MARY, BE CAREFUL (1921), a Goldwyn feature.
plus RAINS OF RANCHIPUR (1955).

I have a couple of photos of her...

Oh wonderful! Thanks Bruce.So they aren't all lost after all.Still it's a
pretty lamentable number of existing films, but better than nothing.Anybody know
of anymore,or is this all that remains of Madge Kennedy?Probably not much
chance I'll ever get to see that film,But it's good to know that there's
something out there on Madge.

Best Wishes,
James

THE DANGER GAME (1918) at Instituto Valenciano de Cinematografia (Valencia)

NEARLY MARRIED (1917) and
DOLLARS AND SENSE (1920) at LOC

A PERFECT LADY (1918) at LOC and GEH

Fabulous!Bruce and Derek you have both made my day.I had long thought all of
Madge Kennedy's films were gone, and it turns out quite a few are still
around.Again don't know what the likelyhood of my ever seeing these films
is,but it's good to find out Madge's entire career hasn't turned to dust.

Best Wishes,
James
