Whatever happened to the frivolous libel suit of Mr. Hanson?

I suppose it is possible that he got a real life finally. If so, I
think we can all congratulate him.

In an online chatroom that I freqent that has nothing to do with
anything medical - there was a guy who was a maniac for 7 years. Just
within the past 2 months, the guy has seen the light somehow! I don't
know what changed in his life, but his demeanor has changed
dramatically.

If you are talking about Hanson's libel suit against me, it was
recently thrown out by the court for two reasons: 1) Jurisdiction is
not in Cook County Superior Court where Hanson filed. 2) Hanson never
showed up after we filed our first motion to dismiss.

Hanson could attempt to resurrect it in California, but since he
failed to appear for the last two hearings, I doubt it.

How much personal time did you lose, Glenn?

Not all that much. An attorney handled the hearings and filings, I
didn't need to go. Hanson sued me for less than $3,000 (I have no
idea where he came up with his number). Our expenses were less than
that, but it sure could have been put to better use elsewhere.

Does this mean there is hope that someday you will get a life and stop
trashing this newsgroup?
