Absolutely no later than forty-five minutes after the Kennedy
assassination, prime suspect Lee Harvey Oswald was quietly apprehended
on East 10th Street in Oak Cliff by patrolman J. D. Tippit, a thirty-
nine year old officer with the Dallas Police Department.
