Brian used to beat her up. IIRC, she had a pup or two with Keef, to
whom I believe she was married for a while. Sure I could look it up,
but I don't believe in limiting laziness to yard work. Or work.

Looks like you remember more about it than Keef does!

One story I heard about the film "Performance" - no way of knowing if
it's true - there's a sequence in which someone shoots someone else in
the head, and the camera POV enters the brain with the bullet. The sort
of thing you see done with CGI on CSI. But there was no CGI in those
days, so how to show the inside of the brain pulsing and squishy?

Well according to the story, they showed a miniature camera up the
ever-obliging Anita in a place Marianne Faithfull reserved for Mars
bars!

Probably an urban legend, but I choose to believe it.

Okay, I actually did look it up and although they had at least three
crotch dumplings, one of whom died in infancy, they never actually did
marry. They lived in sin for a pretty long time though.

....and ended up looking like all three of them.

This is bullshit. I own the film on DVD and watch it occasionally and
there is no such scene as you describe.

It does, however, have a magnificent soundtrack with Randy Newman, Ry
Cooder and an unreleased Stones song called "Memo From Turner."

She also slept with Marianne Faithfull quite a bit

It's on the Rolling Stones Metamorphosis album.
