How did you first hear of Pokémon?
My little brother got the "Pokemon Power" insert from the Nintedo magazine
and wanted me to tape the shows for him. I found the cartoon very
interesting, and so I became a Pokémaniac. At my age, I was concerned that
this obsession with Pokémon might be abnormal and unhealthy. Recently, I
met up with an old college friend of mine, about as old as me, and it turns
out he's a big Pokémaniac too (he bought an imported Pocket Pikachu) and I
guess that made me feel better. I'm old enough to make my own money, which
means I can buy all the Pokémon merchandise I want (I don't know if that's
a good thing or not).
I did hear about the seizure thing last year, but didn't make the
connection until a couple months ago.
Which version of the game do you own?
Blue, as my brother owns Red, so we trade and battle now and then.
Which is your favorite Pokémon? SQUIRTLE!
Ever since the preview episode (The St. Anne ship show), when the
gentleman character called out his Squirtle, for some weird reason I just
thought it was soooo cool. The name was real cool and clever. I
dunno...Ash's Squirtle i's a former gang member who straightened out his
life...and seems to have a real dry sense of humor. SQUIRTLE RULES!

I thought it was evil and wrong because it was so trendy, but
playing the game on emu to evaluate how dumb it probably was left me
feeling "Hehehe, this is actually Kewl!" and I went and bought the
game and started watching and taping the anime. I'm hooked :)
Normally I dislike very strongly trends.. but I'm glad pokémon is
catching on :) I don't mind though if people think I'm odd for
having a pikachu with me at all time "Pikachu Likes You"
Long live Pokémon. If it doesn't, I'll still remember it :)
