Ancestors II" which is banned due to Evade Clause/Cat-Gonk Clause
being around. It's had a fairly decent record so far, I can't really
complain about its performance. Most of my losses can be attributed to
me either not paying attention to the chat window or insane luck,
after all.

Automaton, a long-time training partner of mine claims to have made
this the standard, so I'm taking it out for a whirl. Reflect and
Miracleberry will most likely replace Sub and Leftovers when I get my
ass kicked by another physical-heavy team.
Moltres: "Daihawk"

Double Edge

Most problems simply just go away when you blast them with a special
attack with as obscene a power as this, as long as you can get Serebii
to DT to it first. Turns Miltank into a fine paste, does rather well
just for switching in and out. If I drop Starmie for Miltank I'll
probably give this guy Restberry (PROLE!!!!).

Double Team
- PrzcureBerry
Since he's not considered cheap (and for good reason in most cases),
and he fits this team perfectly, why not use it? Solarbeam for some
amperage if he has to switch in to dispose of a Water type, or a
Tyranitar (which is bad, bad news for this lineup if it appears).
Can take three Drill Pecks from a Zapdos, so he can get nice and DTed
up before passing away for the kill. He's the only thing standing
between this team and Electrics as well as Tyranitar, so he won't be
coming out all that often, or at least not until Big Death Starmie can
get some paralysis in.
Kingdra: "Tsunami"
Ice Beam
Double-Edge
Curse
Rest
- Leftovers/Mint Berry
Backup for Curselax. May get DT over Ice Beam in homage to Neo Syrex,
or Hydro Pump for those ferking Marowak. No STAB with DE, who cares?
It'll become a two-hit kill instead of a one.
Stands up to Water, which this team has a problem with, as well as
pretty much anything else save for Present Miltank.
Marowak: "Invictus"

Rock Slide
Fire Blast
Sunny Day
- TAKE A WILD GUESS
Can pave the way for Moltres as well as having a nasty little suprise
for any Skarmory (nothing but free kills IMHO) and Scizor. Gets BPed
to frequently, kills stuff and does it well

Curse
Rest
- Leftovers
Assrape incarnate, Fire Blast again for the free frag on Scizor and
Skarmory (who cares about Misdreavus anyway). It's proletarian, who
cares, I've gone non-standard for half this team anyway.

anything too non-standard, but I am thinking about a new opener...

The biggest problem here is that, given Moltres' nature, its entire
state of being would _require_ it to use Fire Blast. It strikes me as
annoyingly wasteful to have it using flamethrower to reduce something
to 1 point of health, so the 'extra' PP you get using Flamethrower is
somewhat... less.
This isn't to say I wouldn't use flamethrower.

Actually, Marowak needs three hits if Skarm's on full health, but it's
still a nasty surpise considering that people normally switch Skarm
in_against_Wak...
