The Glenlivet 12 year old - nice floral aromas, light style but complex
flavours wiyh nice malt and smoke elements.
Benriach 10 year old - mellow young malt withsimple sweet aroma and soft fruity
flavour, finishing dry - pretty decent
Glen Keith 10 year old - more toast on the nose with sweetness and oak, and a
bit raisiny flavour, a touch hot
Strathisla 12 year old - heavier flavours with a nutty element, hay or straw on
nose
Longmorn 15 year old - fairly light delicate nose, fruity/flowery on palate
with sweet finish. Not bad.
The Glenlivet 18 year old - a different animal completely - a definite
cinnamon/nutmeg nose, and very interesting almond apricot flavour. Liked it
