"Glastonbury Festival boss Michael Eavis is lamenting the booking of
novelty group The Wombles for this year's event - and said it was a
mistake."

"But the furry litter-picking troupe - who had a string of hits in the
mid 1970s - have stepped up a war of words by saying they will not be
tidying up the site afterwards."

Heck, most of the audience will be on so many drugs, they won't even
notice anything's amiss!

Be advised, however belatedly, that Greenreaper crossposted this story
over at Flayrah.com WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION, and
furthermore, by naming me, created a false sense of association
between me and Flayrah.

My posts to AFF, many and various and over a good few years, are for
the benefit of AFF readers (as few as they are) -- not the fuck-ups,
dogfuckers, dogfucker-apologists and open-carry-advocates that plague
Flayrah.com!

In any event...

The Wombles' live appearance at Glastonbury went wonderfully. You can see
most of their performance by checking out Mike batt's YouTube channel (under
his Dramatico Music record label) here:
