Game gears and tv tuners!

NOT compatable with the tv tuner. I just got my game gear on the cheap from
EB in the UK and the model number is: 2110G. This should mean it is
compatable yet the packing says the model inside will not work with the tv
tuner! I believe the machine is refurbished and thus it could just be a old
machine in a newer box so does anyone here have a Game Gear with the same
model number as me and if so are you able to use the tv tuner and or the
master gear conterter???

? What are you talking about? There was an NTSC tv tuner, a PAL one and a
SECAM one. Did anyone here have a tv tuner and if so the model number on you
game gear please!

The Majesco remade Game Gears (that EB sell) are not compatible with the
TV tuner. The original Sega ones are.

Majesco changed the internals a bit to cut costs, apparently. You can
tell if you have a Majesco one by the fact that the little ovals above
the "Game Gear" logo on the front will be white instead of coloured.

They're dodgy knockoffs. Majesco licences the ancient hardware and
then makes it as cheaply as possible (like the Genesis3) so I doubt
their GGs have the neccessary parts (or even a good enough screen) to
display a TV image.
Or, maybe your GG realized how shit you are and is punishing you
accordingly. TRULY I AM WHAT IS KNOW AS WANKER!
