I purchased a copy of it for about $10 at local discount store (can't
remember which).
It's a "cute" comedy (PG-13) with lots of 70's paraphenalia. Stars David
Cassidy and features Rob Reiner, Julie Brown, and Tommy Chong. Not only
is it a 70's send-up, but it's also a send-up of the Bicentennial. It's
got Kung Fu fighting, Twister, happy faces, est, and The Hustle.
You can get it for $80 here:

Or here for $20:

Anybody got any tips for me on getting my hands on a video of this
movie? I went to Blockbusters, Wherehouse, and a small mom & pop video
store and none of them had it. For those that never heard of it, it is
a movie about the 70's and has a lot of 70's musical stars and culture
in it.
Is this the one with David Cassidy?

I have that movie at my video store. Let me check with my distributor and
see if I can get a copy of it for you. It was a fun movie. I suggest it to
anyone who grew up in the 70s.

really enjoyed stumbling into this newsgroup and meeting all of you. Hope
the new year is wonderful for everyone.

I can't believe they left off "Pick Up The Pieces" by Average White
Band. That's the song playing during the opening credits. Great tune.
I hear ya, and they omitted "afternoon delight" and "Love Chant".
