Almost sled off a cliff driving in a blizzard driving from Denver to Fort
Collins. Car was doing 360 degree spins and there was no guard rail to a
100 foot drop off. Let go of the wheel, took my foot off the brake and

Both moments concern Jen. Once she was choking on a chip and I couldn't get
it out- well not as fast as I wanted to anyway. Another time when she was
about 4, she pretended to drown in the bathtub. I never left her for more
than a couple of minutes and always listened for her and called her name.
This one time, I didn't hear her playing and she didn't answer my calls. I
walked in to find her lying under the water perfectly still. I screamed her
name and yanked her out of the tub by her arm. Thoughts flashed through my
head- CPR- 911 - running into the street calling for help.....then she
opened her eyes and said "Why are you so upset? I was only playing a trick
on you!" Then I collasped into tears with her sweet face looking at me as if
to say "What in the world in the matter with you?" God I'll never forget
that!!!!

Village. Katz's for the Corned Beef or Pastrami HUMONGOUS sandwiches.
(That's where Meg Ryan did the cum scene in When Harry Met Sally). Used to
like the Motown Cafe for it's food, ambiance and clientele as well as the
entertainment. SO fucken' many.

Several. Looking down the barrel of a .45 in the hands of a man who was just
about to shoot someone else-who ducked in time for me to be staring into the
gun. Coupla others with guns BUT the scariest is going in front of the judge
and thinking that he might not let you go home again...ever. And then
wal;king into the Brooklyn House of detention, being one of the smallest
guys there (despite my size), knowing no one to reach out to, realizing that
I am all on my own with a buch of guys who readily admit that they are there
for killing 3 or 4 people (at different times), seeing these guys fight
(GOOD) because someone looked at them, and knowing that they would kill
again for no apparent reason. So you immediately assess what you have that
you can use to set you up as someone whom they trust and that they want to
barter with. I did legal advice for cigarettes. And I know enough about
criminal law to have advised then correctly which then got them to accept
and trust me when someone would come back from court and thank me. Still and
all, I was intent on NOT visiting with the fellas for long, handled my own
legal case with the help of my legal aid attorney, and got the hell OUT of
there as quickly as I could, and yet "walkin' bad" so I didn't look like a
punk.
