I think he was funny in a schlep-py kind of way. ;)
Lori =^.^=
His gay prance is pretty much what made him famous. I remember seeing him
alot on Hollywood Squares or something like that. They even mention him in
Wayne's World, where Tia Carrere's character says that Rip Taylor is a God
in her home country of Hong Kong.

He was funny as all get out in Cheech & Chong's 'Thing's Are Tough All
Over'.

I don't remember that one. Remind me of a scene, pleeeeeeeeeease.
This is the flic where C&C were driving a caddy cross country to Vegas for 2
mobsters. They played dual roles in it. Cheech played an arab type guy who
had trouble saying "hair peice" to the point where it came out as " herpes".
Their car broke down in the middle of the desert so they started walking.
Chong found some peyote. Well a little bit later Rip Taylor drives by &
picks them up. He starts rattlin' off a string of one liners that has Chong
in stitches cause he is so high. I think this was their 4th movie right
after they made Nice Dreams.

I remember the first time I saw this movie. I was watching it at a
friend's house, and when C&C with Rip Taylor got to the restaurant in
Vegas, and the waiter was describing the daily specials while Chong
was tripping balls, one of the guys I was watching with was
_literally_ ROFLHAO. This was the only time i'd ever seen someone
"rolling on the floor laughing". Very Funny Movie. would make a great
DVD.

All times mentioned in my posts are Mountain Time Zone.
Just like the Harry Nilson post, I need a B12 and Ginko injection for
my memory failure.
>Is he funny? Or do you think he's just a schlep.
I thought he was hysterical, he always cracked me up just looking
at him and when the confetti came out I was on the floor laughing
at everyone's reaction. I may not have great taste but I know what
I like :-)

Being a rock star is pointless. It's garbage.
It's the most self-indulgent thing I can think of.

I know that you know what I know, but did you know that I knew that you
know.

And if the price is right
I will amaze before the light

LOL! Nate, don't ever change, hun, you're a breath of fresh air around
here. Only you could make a joke *and* stay on-topic, astounding! :-)

The reason nobody else in my business has any impact
is because they're all comatose. They all end up having
their new venue at Cher Bono's parties, and they wonder
why they dry up.

I'm rifling through pictures for the website and it's just so hard to pick a
good one that everybody should see.
Question: Do you know where I can find the theme song to "The Muppet Show" -
you know - "It's time to start the music, it's time to light the lights, it's
time to get things started on the muppet show tonight. . ."
Very, very fond memories for me!

It is on one of the TeeVee Toons compilations, I believe the first one to
feature late 70s and 80s themes. I have that one.
