Those were different times, eh?
I didn't see too much of what I'd now call "excellent" weed, but
it sure was economical. Every week I'd cash my paycheck and get
an ounce of Mexican ragweed for $10. That and a pack of E-Z Widers
would guarantee absolute dissolution.

Oh, wow! Nobody can remember, man!
When I was in high school from '73 - '76, we could buy fat ounces of
excellent Jamaican on the front lawn of the school during lunch period
for $20 - $25. Always top-quality.
One of the reasons I gave it up almost ten years ago is the current prices...
just ridiculous. I have better things to do with my money these days...

Greetings Unto Matt
I've never seen dazed and Confused, so I don't understand the
reference. I remember that I started smoking late in 77. Pot had just gone
up from 20.00 an ounce to 40.00 an ounce. The price change occurred almost
overnight. I thought the person selling to us was trying to rip us off, then
I found out that the price change was universal (at least in our area,
Western Pennsylvania). We seldom had a problem with quality though.
