Got this mail in my mailbox today

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Subject: [videolan-announce] [ANN] DVBlast 1.0

Dear VideoLAN supporters,

We am glad to announce a new project in our community. For several
years there has been a gap in our software projects, between the
many-featured and heavy VLC, and the now discontinued and
unmaintained VLS.

DVBlast is a simple and powerful streaming application for DVB cards.
It opens a DVB device, tunes it, places PID filters, configures a CAM
module, and demultiplexes the packets to several RTP outputs.

We are pleased to announce the first public release of this new
software, under the GPL license.

For more information about DVBlast, see our Web site :
http://www.videolan.org/projects/dvblast.html

Direct link for downloads :
http://downloads.videolan.org/pub/videolan/dvblast/1.0/dvblast-1.0.tar.bz2

Enjoy!

I managed to compile lib and app, and got DVB-T multicast streaming
working once (with VLC) but no sound, ...

- I assume this line has to be added in demux.c to get my sound:
case 0x11: /* audio HE-AAC used in NO, NZ, ... */

- Can it be used in unicast to many clients ? like getstream2
Is there any examples on how to use in DVB-T unicast mode ?
I'm not able to get it work, content of dvblast.conf:
10.0.1.5:1234 1 1007

- How can I get EIT/ EPG ? (& stream content to sqlite db ?)

$ ./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-release
$ make
$ sudo make install

$ svn checkout svn://svn.videolan.org/dvblast/trunk/ DVBlast

$ make
 echo 10.0.1.5:1234 1 1007 > dvblast.conf
$ sudo ./dvblast -c dvblast.conf -f 746000000

Arnulf;

If you don't get an answer here, the Videolan project maintains support
mailing lists for end-users & developers. On the DVBlast page,
<http://www.videolan.org/projects/dvblast.html>, they point to
<http://www.videolan.org/support/lists.html> and
<http://www.videolan.org/developers/lists.html> respectively.
