Photo DVD Maker is not freeware software, you can download a free trial
but you have to pay for the full version.

There are freeware programs to create slideshows & there are:

DVD slideshow GUI located at http://www.videohelp.com/~tin2tin/ is a
freeware program to create slideshows which can be burned to a DVD &
watched on your TV.

DVDPlanner is a new DVD authoring system which was released recently.
This even supports slideshows. There are 2 versions of this prog, a
freeware & a commerical version. You can download the freeware version
from http://www.dvdplanner.com/ .

If you have Linux, you can download Varsha from
http://varsha.sourceforge.net/ which is a DVD authoring system for
Linux which has support for slideshows.
