Hello,

my problem is: the radio went into SAFE mode after the battery was
disconnected.
I have the code, but I cannot enter it.
Does anyone know how to get the RC to accept the code?
Or know someone who does?

I'm not sure what model radio you have, but if it's the same as mine, then
here are the instructions to enter the code:

Press the FM1 and AM buttons SIMULTANEOUSLY and hold them down until the
display says "1000".

Release the buttons.

Don't press them again, or it will take 1000 as the number you are
inputting.

Use station buttons 1 through 4 to input your code number. Use button 1 to
enter the first digit, button 2 for the second digit, etc. If the first
digit it 0, leave it blank.

Once your code is displayed, press the FM1 and AM buttons again
SIMULTANEOUSLY and hold them down until the display shows "SAFE". Then
release the buttons. In a short time, a frequency should be displayed.

Be careful ... if you enter the wrong code, it will give you one more
chance. If you do it wrong again, it will lock up for an hour. Then you
get two chances again.
