You? a low class piece of garbage, went to the university? hahaha :)
The only way you ever attended a university was to clean the toilets,
and even that you couldn't figure out. You were fired when they found
you licking, kissing and hugging a toilet seat in the women's section.
Get out of here, pervert, they yelled, as you staggered off the
campus, mumbling to yourself - damn, I was so close to getting laid...

Get an education, Birdy... didn't you hear what I just said? Let me
try again. When it comes to intelligence, knowledge, wits, education,
decency, logic, eloquence, happiness, satisfaction and even common
sense, I make you look like a door-knob.

I see it annoys you enough that you started a separate thread, Jesper.
I guess it must really bother you that you were such a failure at
education, as with everything else in your life. I'd cheer you up by
saying that your regret indicates there's hope for you, but since
you're dumber than a sack of hammers, that would be lying: any further
attempts to educate you would be like trying to teach a pig to sing;
it would only waste the teacher's time, and annoy the pig.

Just two minutes after posting that, "Ken" articulated this bit of

Look up the word "self-contradiction" and you'll find: "Ken".

You sound like a child of privilege, born with a silver spoon
in his mouth, who has mistaken the advantageous conditions of
his birth for evidence of some kind of inborn superiority that
he will never need to demonstrate by accomplishing anything.

Were you raised as a Calvinist?

Since you're good at logic, this should be easy for you:

Premises:
(1) No cat is a rodent.
(2) Some rodents are beavers.

Which conclusion follows from premises (1) and (2)?
(A) Some rodents are mice.
(B) No cat is a mole.
(C) Some beavers are not cats.
(D) Some rodents are not mice.

The only reason I am superior to you is because Krishna is the Supreme
Personlaity of Godhead, and engagement in His service is superior to
anything else. Krishna is superior, I'm just a bum. But I am a bum who
has been fortunate enough to come in contact with the Absolute Truth.
By knowing Krishna you cantact your real self. I definitely did now
grow up in a privileged family. But Denmark is privileged in the sense
that education is free for all, at least it was when I was young.

>Were you raised as a Calvinist?

No, I grew up as an atheist. It wasn't that my parents were active,
preaching atheists, like you find here, religion and God were just a
total non-issue in Denmark in the 60s and 70s. At the time I was 15 I
had been to church twice - when I was baptised, and at confirmation.
In the public school I went to, there were 1200 students. Out of all
those, only ONE kid came from a religious family, and they were
Jehovas. He liked to keep real quiet about that.

Heh. Far from it. Jahnu (real name Jesper Wernberg) is a burned-out
former hippie rock drummer from Denmark who abandoned his young family
to join a cult (ISKCON, or the "Hare Krishnas", Hinduism's equivalent
of the Moonies), and who wildly overestimates his own intellectual
abilities and knowledge, which are apparently limited to parroting
back Vedic scripture that he memorizes, but doesn't actually
understand. He has absolute disdain for Western education and science
(typically dismissing scientists as "idiots in white coats", while he
hypocritically enjoys the fruits of their labor, like computers) and
for anyone who is more educated than he is, which includes practically
everyone.

Bzzzt. This is a multiple choice test. There is no space provided
for you to write your Mickey Mouse answer in. One of the offered
choices is correct. Which one?

I know :)

It's lack of real religion that breaks the modern culture down, as we
speak. Atheists are doing absolutely no good neither for themselves
nor the world. They are an utterly useless presence on the planet. In
fact, the presence of the Coca-cola culture, they have created, is a
burden to nature and her inhabitants. It's like a cancer tumor on the
planet, and nature is fully equipped to rid herself of it. She just
shakes her shoulders, and everything comes tumbling down -
earthquakes, hurricanes, floods and so on...

Krishna says:

This material nature, which is one of My energies, is working under My
direction, O son of Kunti, producing all moving and nonmoving beings.
Under its rule this manifestation is created and annihilated again and
again. (Bg 9.10)

But ignorant and faithless persons who doubt the revealed scriptures
do not attain God consciousness; they fall down. For the doubting soul
there is happiness neither in this world nor in the next. (Bg 4.40)

Krishna says:

Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire
from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized
souls can impart knowledge unto you because they have seen the truth.
(Bg. 4.34)

Having obtained real knowledge from a self-realized soul, you will
never fall again into such illusion, for by this knowledge you will
see that all living beings are but part of the Supreme, or, in other
words, that they are Mine. (Bg. 4.35)

Even if you are considered to be the most sinful of all sinners, when
you are situated in the boat of transcendental knowledge you will be
able to cross over the ocean of miseries. (Bg. 4.36)

As a blazing fire turns firewood to ashes, O Arjuna, so does the fire
of knowledge burn to ashes all reactions to material activities. (Bg.
4.37)

In this world, there is nothing so sublime and pure as transcendental
knowledge. Such knowledge is the mature fruit of all mysticism. And
one who has become accomplished in the practice of devotional service
enjoys this knowledge within himself in due course of time. (Bg. 4.38)

A faithful man who is dedicated to transcendental knowledge and who
subdues his senses is eligible to achieve such knowledge, and having
achieved it he quickly attains the supreme spiritual peace. (Bg. 4.39)

But ignorant and faithless persons who doubt the revealed scriptures
do not attain God consciousness; they fall down. For the doubting soul
there is happiness neither in this world nor in the next. (Bg. 4.40)

Hey Birdy, why are you so angry? Is it because they chased you out of
the university when they found you licking and kisssing the women's
toilet-seats? We all know you are a pervert and a loser with no family
and friends and no education and now they fired you from the best job
you have had in years as a toilet cleaner, but why take it out on me?

I can't help that I'm so much better and superior to you. God has
created us that way. You gotta learn how to live with it and stop
whining about it. Nobody minds you being a pervert and a sniveling
loser, it's the constant bitching and whining about it that gets to
people. You just have to accept your lot in life, Birdy. I can't help
you, otherwise. I really want to help you, but you are making it very
hard for me. I'm starting to lose patience with you, is that really
what you want?

BTW, it may please you to know that ISKCON is becoming a very
venerable and respected organization in India. The temple project in
Mayapur, where ISKCON is buliding the greatest temple in Asia, is
creating an economical boom in an otherwise poorly developed area of
West Bengal. The place is being regularly visitied and praised by
government dignitaries and VIPs. In fact, the Indian government has
issued a stamp with Srila Prabhupada, the founder of Hare Krishna, on
it.

It's not exactly in line with your idea of ISKCON being regarded as
the moonies of India, is it Birdy? Is that why you are so angry,
because I prove you wrong again and again? :)

Have a look at the project of the Temple of the Vedic Planetarium.

Yep. It's hard to find a more shameless liar than you, Jesper. Like

It's not a lie. It's a fact. They made a test with Ganges water,
filling up two glasses of water - one Ganges water and one ordinary
water. Then they applied Coli-bacteria to both, and lo and behold -
after 2 days the bacteria in the ordinary water had multiplied and
contaminated the water, but the Ganges water had purified itself of
the bacteria. There was no trace of bacteria left. During the time of
the British empire, they used to bring barrels of Ganges water on
their ships for the months long journey over the Atlantic. They had
found out from the Indians that Ganges water contrary to ordinary
water never went stale. I have also personal evidence of this. I drink
unfiltered Ganges water daily and have done it for the last 10 years.
I know this severely contradicts your inane, dogmatic view of the
world, but calling the facts about Ganges a lie just shows how
ignorant, uneducated and dishonest you are.

>Your incredible dishonesty, of course, Jesper. Does Krishna approve of

Hey Birdy, are you telling me, that you care about Krishna's approval
all of a sudden? :) Maybe there is hope for you yet.

Anyway, have a look of what I found on Google. You could easily have
done it yourself, but instead you have chosen to call known facts of
life lies just because they don't fit into your Mickey Mouse
conception of the world. How does it feel to be proven wrong again and
again, Birdy. Aren't you just a little bit ashamed of yourself?

Srila Prabhupada:says:

The first aphorism in the Vedanta-sutra is athato brahma jijnasa. In
the human form of life one should put many questions to himself and to
his intelligence. In the various forms of life lower than human life
the intelligence does not go beyond the range of life's primary
necessities-namely eating, sleeping, mating and defending. Dogs, cats
and tigers are always busy trying to find something to eat or a place
to sleep, trying to defend and have sexual intercourse successfully.
In the human form of life, however, one should be intelligent enough
to ask what he is, why he has come into the world, what his duty is,
who is the supreme controller, what is the difference between dull
matter and the living entity, etc.

There are so many questions, and the person who is actually
intelligent should simply inquire about the supreme source of
everything: athato brahma jijnasa. A living entity is always connected
with a certain amount of intelligence, but in the human form of life
the living entity must inquire about his spiritual identity. This is
real human intelligence. It is said that one who is simply conscious
of the body is no better than an animal, even though he be in the
human form.

In Bhagavad-gita (15.15) Sri Krishna says, sarvasya caham hridi
sannivio matta smritir jnanam apohanam ca: "I am seated in
everyone's heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and
forgetfulness." In the animal form the living entity is completely
forgetful of his relationship with God. This is called apohanam, or
forgetfulness. In the human form of life, however, consciousness is
more greatly developed, and consequently the human being has a chance
to understand his relationship with God. In the human form one should
utilize his intelligence by asking all these questions, just as
Puranjana, the living entity, is asking the unknown girl where she has
come from, what her business is, why she is present, etc.

These are inquiries about atma-tattva-self-realization. The conclusion
is that unless a living entity is inquisitive about self-realization
he is nothing but an animal.

The sage, Sri Shukadeva Gosvami says:

Persons devoid of knowledge of the self do not inquire into the
problems of life, being too attached to the fallible soldiers like the
body, children and wife. Although sufficiently experienced, they still
do not see their inevitable destruction. (SB. 2.1.4)

O descendant of King Bharata, one who desires to be free from all
miseries must hear about, glorify and also remember the Personality of
Godhead, who is the Supersoul, the controller and the savior from all
miseries.
(SB 2.1.5)

The highest perfection of human life, achieved either by complete
knowledge of matter and spirit, by practice of mystic powers, or by
perfect discharge of occupational duty, is to remember the Personality
of Godhead at the end of life. (SB. 2.1.6)

Whatever it is, it's a matter of authority - what you choose to
believe in. The mind basicaly thinks and acts like it has been trained
to do during its formative years. If you don't suffer much, you must
be more more influence by the mode of passion than of ignorance/
Passion means constant changing between happiness and distress. The
mode of ignorance conditions you to a lot of suffering and misfortune.
And in the mode of goodness it is mostly happiness. There is no
goodness in modern society. It is a complete speculation. It's values
and goals are completely without any authority but the mind.

I am not trying to force my opinion on anyone. The only reason you
think so, is because you are too much under the influence of passion
and ignorance. The mode of passion dictates you to be in doubt about
right and wrong. The mode of ignorance dictates you to be convinced of
the wrong thing. I am just out to make the real world accessible to
any sincere seeker.

It is entirely a matter of authority.

You have two possibilities - you can either accept you own mind as
authority, or you can accept somebody else's mind as authority. You
haven chosen the Coca-cola culture and what your own mind tells you,
as autority, I have chosen the Vedic sages. That's all. It's simply a
question of whom you choose to get your knowlege from - is your own
mind the authority or is it someone else?

In modern society, we have been trained to think that one's own minds
is the greatest authority. That, together with what we are told by TV
and Hollywood, determines our view of the world.

I accept the Vedic sages as my authority I accept Srimad Bhagavatam as
authority. You accept what you you're conditioned to think by your
culture, you accept what the mind tells you. It is as simple as that.

The reason you don't understand that the knowledge of the eternal
disciplic succession, is superior to the speculations of modern
society - the Coca-cola society, as I like to call it - is because you
are too much governed by the mode of ignorance, in which you become
convinced of the wrong thing. At least the mode of passion would doubt
whether it's right or wrong - doubts are the function of the
intelligence. And in the mode of goodness you would understand things
as they are, because in the mode of goodness there is enlightenment.

Real knowledge can only be gotten from those who possess it. That is
what you don't understand. In the mode of goodness you understand
that. In the mode of passion you would at least be doubtful of what
the mind or, I tell, you, but in the mode of ignorance, you are
convinced of the wrong thing, and that makes you commit mistakes.

The first mistake is to accept knowledge from the wrong sources. Real
knowledge can only come from the Vedas. It can be tried and testet by
anyone. The science of nature working according to the three modes of
material nature - goodness, passion, and ignorance. It's like a map
that will teach one to read what is really going on in nature and the
mind. It can be tested and confirmed scientifically. But if you are in
the mode of ignorance, you won't listen to it or try it out. You will
be completely convinced by your own mind. Conditions of ignorance
always leads to suffering, without exception. The mode of passion
causes you to experience a mixture of happiness and distress - up and
down constantly - and in the mode of goodness you will be generally
satisfied and content and you will know what is what.

These things, I say, are obviously not for you. Feel free to ignore
it. This message is entirely directed at any sincere seeker, that
might happen to be here. It is only meant for those who have a desire
to learn the truth.

(Bg. 4.35)

Welsome to Anonymous Sense-enjoyers - AS

Sense-gratification is the addiction of the soul. We often talk about
drug addictions. An addiction to heroin, for instance, is almost
impossible to conquer. So just like a person is addicted to heroin, so
the soul is addicted to sense-gratification.

In AA people get help overcoming their addiction to alcohol. At the
first meeting you attend, you are supposed to state your name and
recognize that you are an alcoholic. You go, hello, my name is Michael
and I am an alcoholic. Hello Michael, the assembly answers.

Similarly, in AS you go, Hare Krishna, my name is Jiva, and I am a
sense-enjoyer. Hare Krishna Jiva, the assembled devotees greet you.

The addiction the soul has to sense-enjoyment is exactly as severe and
as difficult to overcome, as a person's addiction to heroin.

In AA they teach you, that the only way to overcome your addiction
alcohol, is to petition a higher power for help. You have to recognize
a higher power outside yourself, and get help from that. And this
metod works. It is a statistical fact.

In AS we are so fortunate, that by the mercy of Srila Prabhupada we
know Who that higher power is, and we know how to contact Him.

So by petitioning Krishna by constantly chanting his name loudly in
song og quietly in meditation, He will help us overcone our addiction
to sense-gratification. And it is a scientific fact that can be
investigated and verified by anyone who may so desire.

If we refuse to accept that we are sense-enjoyment-addicts, in fact,
if, in stead, we make it the goal of life, the result will be the
disease
of repeated birth and death.

Krishna says:

After attaining Me, the great souls, who are yogis in devotion, never
return to this temporary world, which is full of miseries, because
they have attained the highest perfection. (Bg. 8.15)

When you speak to people in general about God and religion, one
question that keeps coming up is - all religions are the same
nonsense, how do you know the God of your religion is better than any
other religion's God?

But it's a simple question to answer. First you read the Bible. Then
you read the Koran, and then you read Bhagavad Gita. These 3 books are
like the revealed scriptures of the world-religions, so they should
give you a pretty good answer.

When you have finished reading, you ponder the situation and ask
yourself - which of these books touch me the most profoundly, which of
them is closest to what you'd expect to hear from a God?

Can there be any doubt as to the answer?

"I owed a magnificent day to the Bhagavad Geeta. It was the first of
books; it was as if an empire spoke to us, nothing small or unworthy,
but large, serene, consistent, the voice of an old intelligence which
in another age and climate had pondered and thus disposed of the same
questions which exercise us." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

In other words, you know you can't back up your claim, so you'll
continue to run. That's already obvious, Jesper. Has it ever occurred
to you that cowardice and dishonesty aren't very good ways to draw
people to Krishna?

It's good that seems apparent to you. It would be a bad sign if you
found it sensible like a person with a brain would :)

TRANSLATION
There blew winds which were most uninviting to the touch, hissing
again and again and uprooting gigantic trees. They had storms for
their armies and clouds of dust for their ensigns.

PURPORT
When there are natural disturbances like blowing cyclones, too much
heat or snowfall, and uprooting of trees by hurricanes, it is to be
understood that the demoniac population is increasing and so the
natural disturbance is also taking place. There are many countries on
the globe, even at the present moment, where all these disturbances
are current. This is true all over the world. There is insufficient
sunshine, and there are always clouds in the sky, snowfall and severe
cold. These assure that such places are inhabited by demoniac people
who are accustomed to all kinds of forbidden, sinful activity.

Then you might want to let the Indian government know that they're
spending billions of dollars trying to clean it for no reason,
Jesper...

From that page:

"In a short science lesson, Ramachandran explains..."

If Ramachandran had any science to back his assertion, he'd be
publishing it in a peer-reviewed journal, not discussing it in an
interview with an independent filmmaker, Jesper. That's the difference
between how scientists and flim-flam artists act. That you don't
realize that was entirely predictable, given your lengthy track record
of falling for flim-flam artists like ISKCON.

"...why the Ganges doesn't spread disease among the millions of
Indians who bathe in it."

...except that it does:

The Ganges was ranked among the five most polluted rivers of the world
in 2007,[9] with fecal coliform levels in the river near Varanasi more
than one hundred times the official Indian government limits.[10]
Pollution threatens not only humans, but also more than 140 fish
species, 90 amphibian species and the endangered Ganges river
dolphin.[9] The Ganga Action Plan, an environmental initiative to
clean up the river, has been a major failure thus far,[11][12][13] due
to corruption and lack of technical expertise,[14] lack of good
environmental planning,[15] Indian traditions and beliefs,[16] and
lack of support from religious authorities.[17]
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganges

The Ganges suffers from extreme pollution levels, which affect the 400
million people who live close to the river.[92][93] Sewage from many
cities along the river's course, industrial waste and religious
offerings wrapped in non-degradable plastics add large amounts of
pollutants to the river as it flows through densely populated
areas.[13][94] The problem is exacerbated by the fact that many poorer
people rely on the river on a daily basis for bathing, washing, and
cooking.[94] The World Bank estimates that the health costs of water
pollution in India equal three per cent of India's GDP.[95] It has
also been suggested that eighty per cent of all illnesses in India and
one-third of deaths can be attributed to water-borne diseases.[96]
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ganges#Pollution

The incidence of water-borne and enteric diseases such as
gastrointestinal disease, cholera, dysentery, hepatitis A and typhoid
among people who use the river's waters for bathing, washing dishes
and brushing teeth is high, at an estimated 66% per year.[94]
Recent studies by ICMR say, It's so full of killer pollutants that
those living along its banks in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Bengal are
more prone to cancer than anywhere else in the country.
Conducted by the National Cancer Registry Programme under the Indian
Council of Medical Research, the study throws up shocking findings.
The river is thick with heavy metals and lethal chemicals that cause
cancer, it says. "We know that the incidence of cancer was highest in
the country in areas drained by the Ganga. We also know why. Now, we
are going deeper into the problem. Hopefully, we'll be able to present
a report to the health ministry in a month or two," NCRP head A
Nandkumar said.[105]

He might have in Denmark. Lonely college students were the kind of people Krishnas and Moonies went after back then. Once Jesper was brainwashed,
his education went down the drain. He can try to brag about it, but it's worthless. Besides, who knows what he was like back then. His family might
have been glad to see him go.

Hmm, let's see. You're still maintaining your ridiculous claims about
the Ganges being self-purifying, despite being presented with massive
evidence to the contrary, including the Indian Government spending
billions of dollars to clean what they recognize is one of the world's
five most polluted rivers, because the pollution is sickening and
killing the people of India. That makes you a liar. And you snipped
the evidence instead of responding to it. That makes you a coward.

Jesper, you're overlooking one small yet important point: if for some
reason (a blow to the head, for example) every atheist was to
"surrender unto" Krishna at this very moment, you'd still be a

Jesper, idiotic claims about a "special structure" of water molecules
that would make Prabhupada (who was a chemist) roll around on the
floor with laughter do not constitute evidence for anything beyond the
facts that the speaker is a con artist, and that you're probably the
most gullible person to walk the planet. As with the difference
between organic and inorganic chemistry (something else you're
clueless about), any High School sophomore could tell you that this
claim is nonsensical, and why. Yet you, with your supposed "superior
knowledge", fall for it like the sucker you are, because you know
nothing whatsoever about chemistry, and because it reinforces your
religious beliefs.

Tell you what, Jesper, why don't you present your "evidence" to the
Indian government, and tell them that they're spending billions of
dollars desperately trying to clean the Ganges for no reason, and that
the millions of Indians killed by water-borne diseases every year
because the Ganges is a toxic sewer are all imaginary?. You are beyond
delusional.
