You dumb schlumpkin, he was diabetic and had had a stroke and was hospitalized at one time in Houston. He died of vascular failure.

He made so many people so mad with his rapier wit, even after his death they don't forgive him. I angered him once by taking a verbal poke at Moonbeam. He never forgave me for it. Then when Moonbeam and I got to talking about giving platelets, we found we liked each other. She is a honey and I hope she is doing well. She was a loyal mom to Patrick, I know that. Once when somebody threatened him in one of the forums, she let them know that she had a pistol and knew how to use it.

Patrick was my oldest online friend. WE've been communicating via
this ng and in email since the mid 90s.
