ALMA TD SIG

This is the ALMA Time-domain Special Interest Group (ATSIG), an informal group of astronomers seeking to encourage the ALMA Observatory to develop and make available improved capabilities for “time domain astronomy”, broadly construed. Examples of the kinds of capabilities we're interested in include:

• Faster turnaround on TOO requests
• Support for proposals requesting simultaneous observations with other telescopes
• Support for proposals requesting long continuous tracks on fields
• Finer-grained control over scheduling of multi-epoch monitoring campaigns
  

Appropriate topics for the list include news relevant to ALMA's time-domain capabilities, planning for focused efforts aiming to achieve ATSIG's goals (e.g., writing of whitepapers or ALMA Development Study proposals), etc. The list is intended to be low-traffic.
