BPAC Members and Friends,
I know that many of you by now are aware that the annual Youth Bike Summit is being held this year in DC hosted by Phoenix Bikes.  Kids at Arlington-based Phoenix have attended these summits in past years in cities across the nation and returned with enthusiastic reports on the experience.  To host it is an honor - and a lot of work!

If you can make time to help on this week end, I know it will be appreciated.  One of the activities for the youth attending is a ride on Sunday morning.  A number of volunteers are needed to help set up for this activity, and others to act as Ride Marshals to help get the group safely through the route.  It should be great fun to help with the ride.

If you are not familiar with the Phoenix Bikes organization, visit their website at Phoenix Bikes.  They are doing a lot of good for youth in our area and have been one of my favorite volunteer activities for the last several years.  This is a unique opportunity to support them.
