Hi everybody,

I'm a new user of Agile42. I'm not sure, if it's possible that a user
can be a member from multiple teams at the same time.
First, I created one team with its members. After I created other team
and some members of the first team belong to the second one. For this
reason, I add these member to the second team. And these member were
taken out form the first team.

I wanted to know if there is other possibility to do this

Currently one user is only member of one team (which is a good best
practice in real live!). However we will implement some functionality
for that - for now you need to create two user accounts.

And how capacity for the sprint is going to calculated?
Imagine the person is a member of two teams and, say, has 40 hours of
work per week.
There are two parallel sprints assigned to these teams. 40 hours have to
be split somehow between the sprints.
How? Proportionally? Manually?
How to track contingents?

These are some of the interesting questions we will answer when we
decide how to implement the whole thing in detail. :-)

Well, you can already assign capacity/hours for a team member. Simply
split it any way you want. I think it is really valid to have people
in multiple teams, especially in small companies where one person can
wear multiple heads. For example, I might mainly work on a the backend
of a product at thus belong to the "backend team", but sometimes the
UI team needs me to do a task for them, so I should be able to get a
few hours for that team in a given sprint.

Contingents are measured in the sprint you mainly work on.

Stephan
