Hello. We created Google Ads accounts that we use for development and demo'ing. In the past we worked with our companies Google rep to whitelist accounts.

However, now we have a new rep that is unable and/or unwilling to do so. Our existing accounts are being shut down because there is no spend associated with them.

As a company we spend a significant amount on Google advertising - just not in our development or demo accounts.

How do create accounts for demoing/development, get permissions added, and not have them shut down for no spend?

Thanks,
Nitin

Hi Nitin,

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention. First, I would definitely try to work with them to see if they will continue to work as you have previously done. But at the same time, here is a link to how you can create your own accounts. We would also suggest reaching out to the Product Support Team , as they handle more account related issues. As you have been a user of this for a while they might be able to do something with the account so that you are able to keep it without having to start all over.

Do these "Test" accounts need privileges granted for customer match, bid modifiers, and other restricted capabilities? Who can enable these capabilities in newly created "test" accounts?

The Product Support Team link goes to an AdMob support page.

Hi Nitin,

Thank you for the reply.

Could you provide more details to "restricted capabilities" so that we could check if the features you are looking for is available in the test account?

As for the customer match, advertisers need to be allowlisted by meeting the requirements, then reach out to the Google representative to enable this feature for the production account. As for the test account, customer match lists are not supported in test accounts and will automatically close upon creation.

With regard to the bid modifier, it can be managed in the test account using API and you may refer to this document to know more information about it.

Lastly, for the support link of the product support team, then you can check this link.
