Hello,

I´m still waiting for the approval for months. Question, waiting, another question, waiting.......

The last message is from 9th december

"
We will complete your review with in the next 3 business days and update you."

(After I complained about the long-time process)

Since this message I've heard nothing more.

Does anyone have the same problems?

Why does Google make now a big thing to get an API access?

Apart from that we meet all the criteria.

We just need the api access to expand the campaigns. So it is also the interest in Google that we we get the access as soon as possible. I told this Google.
I don´t understand Google Adwords.

Hi Andreas.

Quote from Anash P. Oommen's answer for similair question:
"You need to email adwordsa...@google.com specifying your
account
details, and they will get back to you with steps to get the tokens
activated. The team is a bit loaded at the moment, so if you don't get
a
response in a couple of days, just ping them for reply. "

Also you can try to contact with Google Adwords API team using new
contact method -

Evgeniy.

@Evgeniy

Thank you very much, but I know how to contact the Adwords API team.

I have now received a response.

They declined the token with that reason:

"However, while reviewing your application for compliance with AdWords
API terms and conditions, our team has found that the tool doesn’t
comply with Section II(3)(a). You can review the AdWords API terms and
conditions here: http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/terms.html.
"

This is the biggest joke ever!!

After I've read a lot in various forums, I have the feeling that
Google don´t want to have new API users.

With lots of dedication and meticulousness we have developed a tool
that manages our campaigns with the API. To me it’s completely
incomprehensible how Google Adwords acts in this case. Where is the
problem that makes the activation process take so long? Why Google is
so restrictive here? Why I have to beg for advertise on google by
using the API??

We meet all the critera. We are a serious Adwords customer and want
the Google API to use seriously.

Completely objective point of view: There is no reason to decline use.
Absolutly NO.

Does anybody have the same problems??

If not secret - that type of your application?
Why they think that data loaded from API will be in public access?

Update:

After further inquiries the Token-Team refer to tool
"sitefactor" (www.sitefactor.de)
which we promote within our campaigns. sitefactor is an SEO-Tool that
has absolutely
nothing to do with the Google Adwords API or our API-Tool.

The Token-Team rejected the activation for a reason (providing the
tool to a third party)
that is simply not true and based on a misunderstanding.

After I told all the things to the Token-Team, they wrote

"In the best interest of our AdWords API policies, we are unable to
reconsider this application."

So where do we go from here? Did we develop our application for
nothing?

I can hardly put in words how astonished I am about your approach and
dealing with
customers.

To sum it up:

- We have developed a proper tool to manage our campaigns within the
API.
- We will use the software solely in-house without any third party at
all.
- We do have numerous active campaigns, i.e. we’re serious
advertisers.

There`s absolutely no reason for rejecting the API-access and I think
it’s quite sad that we
have to act like a supplicant in this matter by now.

Incredible.......
