I am inviting our talented world designers, avatar makers and script gurus to put themselves at your mercy for an hour or so to share some (but not all!) of the tips and tricks that make their work so distinctive and so wonderful.
If you have suggestions for who you'd most like to talk to please e-mail me at m...@donzas.com <mailto:m...@donzas.com> and let me know. Or if you'd like to host one of our "Atmo Tech Talks" in your world then let me know that too - it's a great opportunity to promote your work. And I'll do all the scheduling and PR work for you!!
But I am looking for volunteers - so everyone start thinking about what you'd like to talk about and let me know!! I welcome any and all ideas!!
Look for my Atmo Junkies Weekend Update on Saturday to see who will be sharing their knowledge with you in the coming weeks.
This is gonna be SO cool!!
BTW - if you aren't on my mailing list go to <http://www.donzas.com> and use the MAILING LIST link to can sign up.
I tried your link above as I would like to sign the mailing list -- stupid plugin took over and page locked up, couldn't add to favorites as none of the top buttons worked. World loaded tho couldn't get in. Anyway, how do I visit your webpage w/o plugin starting up? Or is there a way to access the links page?
BTW, I enjoyed visit last week with lite version and sap; it worked fine including link to the trivia forum. Like seeing the cube again. Dashed around, zoomed into the cave--and backed out but link had already triggered. Locked up. Will try that again w/o backing out as I'd like to see it ;o) --kj
In any case I certainly am sorry you couldn't sign up for the mailing list. There's another link to it on <atmotech.com> or you can just email me (m...@donzas.com <mailto:m...@donzas.com>) and I will be most happy to add you to the AtmoJunkies Weekend Updates mailing list.

And more to come!!!
This week's Atmo Tech Talk will take place in SpacePort (http://www.atmotech.com/techtalk/ <http://www.atmotech.com/techtalk/>) immediately after LadyBunny's Trivia @ 3:00 pm EST (8:00 pm GMT). Please note that future Tech Talks will be held on Saturdays. On February 22nd look for Jbezorg to share some of his World Building techniques.
Emergency plans: I've arranged with Softbabe to use her beautiful new Access All Areas world as a backup. Here's the plan - if chat is down in Trivia World then first check back here to see if LadyBunny has posted an alternate plan and if nothing is there then check into Access All Areas - <http://www.cyber3d.info/aaa/aaacom.htm>. Hopefully something will be working!!
Any last minute changes will be posted in the forum so when in doubt check here.
<http://www.donzas.com/trivialite.html> or (SAP) <http://www.donzas.com/worlds/ladybunny/lite/Seraglio-lite.aer>
Please change to default avs ASAP upon arrival.
Thanks, Donza and Apkalus. --kj

Apkalus
Excellent job D and Apk. Was a great session - look in your inbox soon Apk, I have some questions LOL.
It was simply polite chat regarding the posting of the logs following the event. However, it seems that Donza didn't like seeing them, and felt that she should just cut them out. I consider this censorship, not editing - due to the inclusion of all other chat, even the "VPeffLarger" avatar spam.
Like most people, I consider censorship to be wrong. Period.
As many of you know, I originally began planning an "Atmo Builder's Series" last November. When I found out that Donza was planning a similar project we tried to combine them into one. After several days, my instincts told me that working together on the project was simply not a good idea. I politely withdrew from our joint efforts, and even decided to not continue with my plans, as I didn't see the benefit of hosting competing events. Maybe this incident can shed a little light on why I felt that way.
Since that time, I believe I have been supportive of Donza's tech talks, and was very happy to attend yesterday's events. However, I will no longer support the efforts of a person who feels that censorship can be justified in any way. I'm very sorry, Jim Coe, and Jbezorg, I'm going to hate to have to miss out on your talks, but I will not attend an event where the posted logs will be censored simply to suit the ego of one person.
Angela
The editing I did was regarding spelling and some of the vpanim stuff (which I missed) - admitedly I was in a hurry when I was trying to format the log so some of that was left in. I was trying to get it online as quickly as possible.
As far as editing for my "ego" I think that is a bit of a reach as the talks were a sucees by all estimation. I'm not the one with the ego here - which seems pretty apparent now.
I'm not even sure what all are talking about. So I will reread and REPOST the original log that all of you can read to your heart's content.
Thanks for your support Ange - that's the one part that wasn't unexpected.
And if anyone can tell me what part of the original log my ego would have to worry about I'd appreciate it. I only see one ego showing up here and it isn't mine.

Oh wait - my bad - I did change the typo I made regarding the number of people in my world. When I looked at the User image there were 18 not 17. Sorry.
1. Post two logs. One with everything - one with ONLY discussion having to do with the event. People can choose which log they want.
2. If you decide to post only one - use the one edited for questions/answers and instruction only.
People like me like to read the banter back and forth between us all - we have fun. But logs edited that only show the subject are good text files to keep in your puter when you need to follow along with the bouncing ball while doing something - then you dont have to scroll through the chit-chat to find the next step in the process. :)
And you BETTER come to mine Ang!
Can i add, there seems to be some underlying bad blood.. not wanting to get involved, could i ask that the two of you discuss your differences in a 'less public' situation? Perhaps begin with each dropping the bitterness and talking about what the real problem is, and i suspect it's not with editing the chat text.. anyway. Discuss. Forgive. We've such a beautiful, beautiful community going so far, lets not make it divisive & lets strive to keep it in harmony :)
Superted - Peace Enforcer.
However, I felt it was best to set the record straight, not allow this to be covered with lies. Two other people's specific comments were taken out besides mine. This is not "fixing spelling errors" this is censorship. There is no excuse for it.
I would not have had a problem with this being excluded from the posted log if all the random chit chat had been removed, however it was only certain lines of chat that Donza personally had issue with that were. The only chat text that I'm aware of being taken out were the comments of jk, BC_Bat, and myself, as you can see below.
