I didn't have any luck getting it to work with Rails 3 beta 4.

I tried it again tonight. Got it work perfectly with rails 3 beta4.
A few things you have to do:
1. install the verification plugin
2. install the rails.js version from vhochstein
3. install the latest 1.7 prototype
4. change your routing to
resources :posts do
as_routes
end
Other than that, it is working just like rails 2.3.
